Murray's Story: Murray came into Rescue due to welfare grounds. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Murray is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Murray came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Murray came to our kennels in November to build him up slowly as you need to do with emaciated dogs. Murray has reached his target weight and was neutered yesterday and released into our care today.

Murray is known and loved by our walkers.

Murray ignores other dogs. Murray is needy for company and has had a queue of care staff and volunteers cuddling him when he isn't out walking. Some of his worries are over just a superb family to find for him now

Oh well done Murray and well done all the staff taking such good care of him and all the volunteers refraining from giving him treats (which is really hard with those soulful eyes) so that he could gain his weight safely xxx

Murray! So happy that you’ve reached your target weight. He is such a sweet loveable boy who will make his new owners very happy. He loves it when I come to say hello to him in his kennel and is always up for a cuddle ❤️

Murray is a gorgeous boy and we introduced him to Brian today who may have fallen a little bit in love. Who could blame him, Murray is very gentle and needs a little assurance on his walk but SO friendly and easy on the leads. love4.gif

Murray is such a beautiful affectionate boy. He always greets me in his kennel with a lovely cuddle and kisses. He’s amazing on the lead and just wants to say hello to everyone. He is such an amazing boy and is one of my favourite dogs to walk ❤️❤️

Sweet sweet Murray is such a gentle dog. He has been reluctant to go far in the past but followed Rickie with enthusiasm.

Sweet Murray. He almost seems like a different dog from just last month. He is still super affectionate, however he definitely has a spring in his step now. A family would be lucky to have Murray in their lives.

Today Murray happily went on the long Keepers Cottage walk with Lenny Lurcher. They were both very chilled in each others company. Murray walks so nicely, mostly at your side and loved having sniffs along the way. He was so easy, gentle and well behaved. He’s an awesome dog.
