Hilda Frenchie x Pattie DofB 06.11.23 Derby

Current Status: Homed
Hilda 1st day 7th Nov 23
Hilda 1st day 7th Nov 23
Hilda Story: Hilda's mother Sally came into our care very pregnant; the father was a resident Frenchie Grey/Merle. Hilda was born with her sister and brother via caesarean. Hilda shows strong Patterdale likeness as her sister Edda. Her brother Norman shows strong likeness to his father, the Frenchie. Rescue Remedies offered her mother a Rescue place saving her life. Hilda will be neutered when old enough, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Hilda was in foster whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Hilda's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Hilda was born on and came into RescueRemedies on 6th November 23.

Do we have a recent photo for Hilda? I don't imagine she looks so tiny any more! 0002.gif]

Hilda (left) and Edda

Yes, Paul, they are a bit bigger now! For several weeks they didn't seem to grow very much but now they look like tiny Patterdales. When they went for chip and first vax the vet said they were very healthy and very happy.

Hilda is the more giddy of the two and, with her very slightly undershot bite, possibly a bit more, “Frenchie”. Yushi is besotted with her.

Out in the big world for the first time today and Hilda was a bit surprised. Still ready to put her best paw forward ...

Little Hilda has been homed today. Her new family is Andrew and Alison with their 2 children Zack and Connor.

So pleased for her ...them and so grateful to Peter and Pat in bringing her into this world and caring for her in prep. for this day...
