If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays. Casey's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Casey is a fabulous girl, very gentle and friendly and likes an amble with lots of sniffs rather than a fast march she appears to be completely non dog reactive and obviously loves people. Lovely thick soft coat and big dark gentle eyes

Chris and I walked Casey on Wednesday. She's a lovely affectionate girl

I met Casey today and we went for a short potter. She loved leaning against my legs for a scratch on the side - a very sweet, cuddly dog.

I love walking Casey and am always very happy when I get an opportunity to do so. She is a friendly girl, and being a mature lady understands what is expected of her and waits beautifully for me to put her harness on and then off we go. Casey likes to walk at a relaxed pace with lots of sniffing which suits me perfectly. She has the most beautiful face with large, dark, enquiring eyes and a soft fluffy coat. She is very happy to be rubbed down when we get back as it is so very muddy right now. She is not bothered by traffic, other dogs or other people, but she is happy to say hello if invited to do so. She is quite simply a very well behaved dog and would love to be able to curl up on a nice sofa or soft rug and be loved again by her very own dedicated human. She's a dear little soul, oh and she does like being given treats, but she doesn't bug you for them, she is so well mannered

Jan such a lovely write up on dear Casey, I also enjoy my weekly walk, such a gentle loving girl, I always get a lovely greeting and she is happy to go out for a walk. I love the cuddles Casey gives, she is also happy to greet other walkers. Casey deserves a loving home with all the comforts she could wish for

Casey was very happy to see me and took treats well, while I harnessed her up and got her ready for a nice chilled walk. She walks slowly, enjoying sniffing around, and checking on us every now and then. She’s an older lady and would be a great addition to the right household.

Casey was pleased to see me today x she was easy to harness and was ready for a walk x she may be an ‘older’ lady, but today she had a spring in her step and was ready to go! She took her treats gently and when she wanted another, she just sat and waited patiently x she took me to the Poets Hut, where she got comfortable, and was up for a belly rub! Easy going girl, needs a retirement home to chill and relax x

Casey and I had a fabulous Boxing Day walk today x she saw me from her kennel, and with a wagging tail, I harnessed her up and she was ready to go x Casey loves sausages, and when she knows you have them, she will occasionally stop walking and sniff out a sausage! We popped into the Poets Hut, had a cuddle and took a couple of selfies!! Casey then pottered around the Woodland Walk and then it was Paddock time! Don’t be fooled by her age, Casey can run when she wants to, and she’s pretty quick too! She jumped up to the top of the agility steps, without any coaxing from me! She just went to the top x Casey is a lovely girl, and I just think she’s adorable x
