Angela Mum, Matthew and Lucy came back today to RESCUE! They are such a Rescue minded family and last time took on DeeDee (Edie) and gifted her a wonderful life.

Today Selwyn got their vote even after putting his paws on Angela's lap and licking her face!

Ros will share all...

This is such fantastic news! 🤗

I am a little gutted that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye but the most important thing is that this lovely boy has been homed.

Be happy Selwyn and please, please keep in touch. 😘

(Since returned)

Matthew Lucy and Angela met Selwyn today and he was his usual friendly self. He can be a little over friendly at times and everyone had plenty of face washes and got slobbered on.
We had a nice walk round the common and then went to the paddock for a game of ball and a little splash in the pool.
Selwyn climbed on the steps and gave Matthew a hug and lots of kisses before charming the ladies.
They had already me the wonderful Kobi and so I left them to have a chat to decide who they wanted to take home.
Selwyn it was wheyhey.gif

Paperwork signed we went to the car and Selwyn leapt in to travel off to his new home.

Let's go home!
Let's go home!

He is a smashing young dog who just needed the right family to come along for him.
I hope you are all happy together and hope to hear how he is settling in.

Sadly Selwyn came back today. He was returned with many many positives and enjoyed this walks and garden and chilled on the sofa at every opportunity. He has to learn to control his excitement which comes with built up frustration due to his circumstance. We will work with him on this, as we have when he used to get over-excited on his walks.

We thank Matthew and family for giving Selwyn a chance. He will have benefitted greatly by being reminded that life exists beyond his kennel and kennel environment.

Oh that's such a shame. But it will be lovely to see you again Selwyn. 😍

And yes, as Lynne says, thank you ever so much for giving him a chance.

I shall come and walk you on Saturday, my earliest opportunity to do so. 👍

Selwyn may be back but he had a lovely break where he proved himself to be a cuddle monster and lap dog on the sofa and we are all thankful he was given this opportunity where we have learned a lot about this gorgeous boy love4.gif
He has settled back in wirh us and yesterday we had a lovely walk through the fields near the kennels. Unfortunately the 5th field we came to was full of cows and following an incident of being chased last year when out with my 2 we turned back rather than enter the field and headed off round the common instead 0002.gif]
I love my walks with Selwyn as he is so well behaved and such an easy boy on the lead.

It lovely to see Selwyn yesterday, he was very excited to see me and gave me the most lovely welcome.

The weather wasn’t the best, but he loved splashing in the puddles and was just a perfect boy on his walk ❤️.

I kept my promise and Gem and I walked the lovely Selwyn today. He may be big, but he is super friendly, very gentle and easy to walk.
