Current Status: Homed
Knakkie's Story: Knakkie has been living with her mother and sister. She also lived with a Cocker Spaniel. They has lost their home due to imminent eviction. It would be nice to home Knakkie with at least one of her daughter. They are all used to being Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Knakkie is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Knakkie came in to Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting her new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Knakkie's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original referral information: We were approached to help Knakkie and her mother and sister

I met Knakkie and her little family today. What a little beauty she is. Very timid in her new environment but was happy to interact. So beautiful. Lovely cat...

Knakkie is the more confident of Kitty's daughter. Like her mum very easy to handle, is attracted to humans to say hello and a calm demeanour. She was very happy to be examined. She has a Grade 2 heart murmur which our vet felt was nothing to worry about and probably inherited. (On examination of Kitty her mother and other sister Cutie this was confirmed)
Knakkie has a remarkable/striking patchwork coat. Knakkie being the more confident daughter could be homed separate to her relatives.
All 3 cats are gentle and could be around children as long, as always, children are tutored to respect cat's space and allow the cat to approach in their own way in their own time.Knakkie Black & White DSH DofB 06.11.18 RRemedies Centre
Knakkie is getting braver every time I see her. A beautiful cat. Loves attention, is very friendly, inquisitive and playful. Lovely cat x

Wonderful homing for Knakkie with Lisa and her son. They have a male rescue cat Obi-Wan who has recently lost his partner and will welcome Knakkie into their home
its an amazing co-incidence that Knakkie has a South African's name which we felt would be too difficult for people to pronounce. Lisa is in fact Dutch and gets the African's pronunciation and Knakkie came immediately running over so has found her family and her name!
