Dior's Story: Dior came into us as emergency as she had nowhere to go. She has had litters and needs a safe rescue place where she can be prepared for homing. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Dior is now neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. Dior came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Dior's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Original referral information: We were called by Cathy who asked a very special favour as Dior had nowhere to go. We couldn't take in this afternoon but are going to take into emergency kennelling tomorrow afternoon.

Dior came into RescueRemedies on the 25th September 23.

Love, love, love this sweet girl love4.gif
Dior is an absolute darling, she was a little bit shy in her kennel and so I crouched down beside her and within seconds she’d come in for cuddles Kiss of love.gif exiting her kennel was super easy and once we were out and had hit the grass Dior came alive, she is so up for an adventure and it’s absolutely impossible to not be drawn into her joy woo.gif]
First stop was Dior’s photo shoot, it was pretty hard to get her to keep still, once that nose goes down she is on a mission, but luckily Dior also really enjoys a cuddle and a belly rub love4.gif Dior has the sweetest mix of vulnerability and sweet friendliness, so she overcomes her shyness very quickly in her keenness to make friends Kiss of love.gif she was hilarious getting her photos done, very much the sweet, snuffly bulldog and all she really wanted was cuddles until she spotted Benji in the paddock and she was mesmerised, didn’t seem bothered at all though thumbs.gif
Photo shoot over and Im happy to report that Dior absolutely loved being out and about on her walk, she is no slouch and very much enjoys exploring the undergrowth, in fact she dragged me in on a couple of occasions woo.gif] she didn’t seem phased by anything and was an absolute pleasure to walk.
I loved getting to know Dior today, I reckon her photos are going to be fab and I reckon her home is just around the corner, she certainly deserves it Kiss of love.gif

Dior has been to the vets for neuter so we just had a short walk up the lane yesterday. She is a really sweet girl. She can be strong on the lead and keen to get on but this week it was a slower trot along but she was happy to be out and about and making friends.

Dior is such a sweetie. She is very affectionate and was happy to get out and have a short walk, while healing. She was so funny when seeing a squirrel, as she made a squeal of ‘he’s over there’ which made her pull on the lead but you can easily regain control. A funny, cuddly, bundle of a dog.

Dior was feeling a bit sorry for herself, so we had a cuddle in her kennel before setting off for a walk. She was definitely very keen on squirrels, but also on cuddles. Lovely girl.

Second walk with the very friendly and cuddley Dior on Monday. She is a gorgeous bundle of fun although a bit strong on the lead which I am sure could be corrected.
