Gabby's Story: Gabby taken in by another Rescue who use fosterers. Foster place has broken down and been trying for to find emergency place. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Gabby is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Gabby came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

I met Gabby today for the first time at the charity walk and all I can say is wow! What a great little terrier - affectionate, so friendly, so pretty with her lovely face and fluffy fur - I just can't wait for her to come to the RR kennels where we can walk her and shower her with affection - she so deserves it. bighug.gif

We have had Gabby just over 24 hours. We arrived home from the charity walk on Sunday with her. She travelled well in the back of the car just sitting taking in her surroundings. We got home and she had a sniff around the house and garden. We then took her out for an hours walk. Typical terrier interested in sniffing, walks at a good pace but not too pully. Unsurprisingly she is enjoying the squirrels. She slept overnight in her bed in the bedroom without issue. No issues at all with house training. She loves a squeaky toy! Met two dogs today with no problems and is walking in a high dog density area. She is not greedy but eats her food. She is affectionate and comes on the bed in the morning. She does like to sit on your lap and adores getting stroked but will also lie on the floor by your feet. Lovely sweet little terrier.

A long drive up north yesterday. Gabby travelled well and preferred sitting on my knee to the back seat of the car. We had a long walk today and now we are chilling. She has met the family well and is such a good dog.

We had the pleasure to walk gorgeous Gabby this morning. She was super friendly in her kennel and once out we had to pause for cuddles. She’s really soft and cute. She walked well on the lead and didn’t seem too bothered by squirrels or other dogs. love4.gif

We were able to have lovely Gabby in foster for another week. She knew the house straight away. She is a bright friendly little dog. She has been left for a couple of hours without incident. She made friends with my Dad.

We have Gab back in foster for a few weeks. Lots of lovely long walks this weekend. Terrible picture but the shadow made her look huge…
