The more time I spend with Berry, the more I fall in love with her. She may need a little reassurance meeting new people, but shown kindness she very quickly warms to anyone and starts to show her soft, affectionate nature. She enjoys walks with other dogs best as this seems to give her confidence, but she also loves to spend time in the paddock, choosing what she wants to do. This usually involves some zoomies, some mooching and grass munching and lying on the table or top of the steps getting cuddles and affection. On Thursday she lay on the steps in the warm sunshine, laid her head on her paws and started to doze.

Berry's been over for a few days. She's has a good temperament and is very friendly. We've had a few walks around the local streets and in the park this morning. She walks well beside traffic and pulls a little occasionally, but not as a rule.

Indoors she is fine. We've had one wee on the floor; she doesn't pull things around; but will go down the bin if able. We had a rare incident where she took a wrapper from the bin and I tried to take it straight from her: she gave me a growl and touched me with her teeth. I didn't find it aggressive. She does hover around food but is not a pest.

She enjoys pottering around the garden and having her walks but has spent a lot of time relaxing next to me. As I said last time, she can be very persistent when wanting to play. It's harmless mouthing really and having grown up alone in a back garden I'd say she's doing very well with her boundaries, although they will need reinforcing occasionally. Haven't had any visitors so don't know what she's like with people at the door.
She can definitely come again sometime.

Berry enjoys her time out. She likes to play but can get excitable. She is easy to calm down when this happens.
Here she is in classical pose.

I walked the stunning Berry today. What a good girl, very friendly and keen to get out for a walk. Once away from the kennels she seems very chilled, and not reactive. Berry kept nudging me for a bit of affection, which was charming, and we had a lovely long gentle walk. This girl will thrive in a loving home. love4.gif

It has been ages since I did a Berry update. Yesterday Cora and I took her into the paddock. Berry has come so far after a terrible start that I am in awe of her. She is a sweet and affectionate soul at heart and thrives on praise and gentle affectionation. I adore this girl.

Berry takes me straight to the paddock when we go out. She does walk but prefers her zoomies and a bit of play. Warm work today though!

I have very remiss in updating Berry's thread. Cora and I walk Berry together most Saturdays, we both want to walk her and neither of us wants to miss out so poor Berry has to put up with both of us (she is very tolerant of us!).

Lately we have been enjoying paddock time with Berry. She zooms, mooches about and comes for cuddles.

Berry forms stong bonds with her people and watching her confidence grow is an absolute pleasure.
