Berry is a lovely playful dog once she knows you. She is wary of strangers and doesn't like loud or unexpected noises.

I have been walking Berry 2 or 3 times a week and she becomes more affectionate with the people she trusts. She loves the kennel staff and will seek them out for cuddles when she is out and about. Still wary of some people but making new friends all the time. x

Berry was delighted to be going out with a little gang of dogs and walkers yesterday. She clearly loves the company of other dogs and was calm and relaxed around them. We headed off along the road to the park. I don't know how much Berry has been exposed to traffic before but the roads were particularly busy and Berry was not phased at all. She was keen and happy to follow the other dogs but once we got into the park, she started to explore more on her own. I was super proud of her, she didn't put a paw wrong and I have made a mental note to make sure she gets lots of social walks from now on, as she clearly gets confidence from being around other canines. The only thing to note is that we passed a lots of people yesterday (including many children walking home from school) and she is a little too keen to want to go up close and say hello to everyone. She has been making so many new human friends at the kennels, who are all very kind and friendly with her, that she now wants to make friends with everyone. She is a big girl and I am aware that her size can be intimidating to some people, so we shall work on passing people without the need to say hello every time.

I’ve been getting to know Berry the last couple of weeks and we had our first solo outing on Saturday. I got a lovely friendly welcome in her kennel and we were soon ready for off once harness and muzzle were on. At present Berry is wearing a muzzle as she can get a little grabby with leads but she is very happy to wear it. Once out she was a little unsure about heading too far with me and so we had a mooch about onsite and headed to the woodland paddock so we could get better aquainted. Berry seemed to like this idea and was soon running round the paddock like a little loon with her ears flapping about
. Berry is an affectionate girl and so she regularly came back for a quick cuddle before she was off again running about and showing her wonderful puppy side.
Berry had a sad start to life and is still finding her way and still has many puppy tendencies but she is a wonderful, loving dog who is keen to please and is hoping that her people will find her soon and show what home life should be.

Berry Christmas to you all. Had Berry over for the night after she worked her magic on me yesterday. She was nervous in the car but happy to get out and do a minor inspection of the place.
Berry likes her food but was respectful when I was eating. She left her food until I turned the lights off at 11.45, then ate the lot.
We had one wee accident and no more. Considering Berry grew up in a back garden, she is very good around the home. Occasionally she was a little persistent with wanting to play and getting a bit mouthy, but it was short lived and harmless. Berry is a lovely friendly dog with a lot of affection to give. She was so happy to be here and was a pleasure to have around.
Our late night walk took us right around the block and Berry led the way.
I'm sure she would fit into a home environment very quickly.

Berry and I had a wonderful time together yesterday. She was excited to see me and was keen to get out and about. While Berry has been enjoying social walks with other dogs, yesterday it was just us on our own. Berry was full of confidence and behaved impeccably throughout her walk. I then took her to the paddock and she made me laugh doing her zoomies with a look of pure joy on her face. Having exhausted herself, she plonked herself down on the table for a rest. Berry has the sweetest nature and wants to say hello to everyone and enjoys the company of other dogs.
