Misty's Story: Misty came into for welfare reasons, from a multidog household. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Misty is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Misty came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

"Lovely with people and has lived with other dogs but not properly tested. Recently had litter."

If interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Had a lovely first time walk and cuddle with Misty yesterday.

What a delight to walk and to be around! She’s an incredibly calm lady. No pulling on the lead and was well mannered when walking around the woods! We came back and had a play in the paddock and after a good sniff around had a play with the tennis balls which she enjoyed! And would come back over for a cuddle which I think she forgets how big she is lol

Also has a little meet with Duchess and she was great! Wanted to play through the fence which was adorable to watch!

Look forward to walking her 💕

Misty is a big, beautiful lady. She has the most adoring eyes. One look and you know she is friendly.
Misty was relaxed with me entering her kennel and putting on a harness. Going out with Tam and I, she took no notice of the other dogs, she was just keen to get out. She seemed to know exactly what to do while I was doing her photoshoot and posed like a pro. Then off she went with Tam for a walk, walking beautifully on the lead.

I am really surprised that Misty and Dixie have not been snapped up and in their new homes already.

They are gorgeous girls with so much love to give. Easy to walk and handle and never fail to put a smile on your face.

Hopefully a new home is just around the corner Kiss of love.gif

Misty Moo, I adore you!!

Misty is a real delight. She gives the warmest of welcomes and is amazing to walk alone or with others. She’s a big girl with an even bigger heart. She loves people and is curious when we come across other dogs on our walks and patiently waits with a very waggy tail.

She will make an amazing addition to the new home she is waiting for ❤️🥰❤️🥰

I met and walked Misty for the first time on Wednesday - gosh, what a stunner she is!

We ended up going out in a small group, with Misty leading Boo and Pablo around the usual woods and common route.

For a large dog she is ever-so calm and gentle and walked perfectly. I can see us walking together again very soon!

Took the lovely Misty out yesterday for a walk and as everyone else has mentioned she is absolutely gorgeous and walks so well Kiss of love.gif we had a lovely walk, no pulling, just plodding along taking in all the sights and smells. Paddock time we had fun running after the tennis balls positivo1.gif I hope she gets her forever home soon as she is a stunning girl Kiss of love.gif

I have walked Misty quite a few times now and she is a lovely sweet girl.

She walks nicely on her lead, not a big puller at all.

She is also super friendly, I am happy for her to meet the public as we walk through town. People are drawn to her soft, kind face and when I invite them to pet her, they can’t wait to oblige and squish her huge chops.

She is a real beauty, inside and out. And I plan to take her on some longer walks and maybe take in a pub or cafe at some point along the way as she is that good.

I would love her to be my pet. I am sure she will be snapped up soon enough. A real dream x
