I spent a good chunk of time with this beautiful girl over the weekend.
She loves a cuddle and will lean into you for one. She’s not too fazed about playing with toys or water but happily stood in the water bucket in the paddock.
She didn’t want to walk on Saturday so we had lots of cuddles and grass rolls within the centre area, but Sunday I managed to get her out and onto the common where she found a spot and rolled till her heart was content, I was giving her belly rubs (which she loves) and she started falling asleep, very happy!!
She’s starting to come out of her shell more and more and knowing her beforehand she is such a lovely girl!

Boo gave us a happy and waggy greeting on Sunday. She didn’t fancy a walk so we headed to the paddock where we sat and had lots of cuddles.
Boo is such a gentle girl, beautiful, cuddly and slobbery

I adore Boo, she absolutely has stolen my heart and it was so lovely to catch up with her today
I think in my last post I said that Boo had not been quite herself and she certainly has been a little but under the weather, but I’m pleased to report that she is feeling a million percent better and today I got the most glorious greeting in her kennel and she was very, very happy to head out on a walk
Now I know that Boo loves a canine walking pal and who better to enlist than our wonderful Tommy SR, these 2 together are just bliss, so not bothered by each other, but Boo certainly takes great comfort from her friend Tommy
the further we walked today the more Boo’s sparky, fun personality returned and as soon as we hit the common well then she was in her element, rolling, rolling, rolling
and then jumping up, big grin on her beautiful face and running on so keen to keep up with her pal
and the more Boo walked the more she came alive and relaxed and that magnificent smile of hers is most definitely back
It’s no secret that I do love this girl and I know that her other walkers do too, Boo has this way and she’s very hard to resist. So before I left kennels tonight I snuck into her kennel for more cuddles, Boo does seem to love close contact and will her bury head right in for proper snuggles and will get as close as possible and she mugged me for all of my remaining sausages, as I said she’s impossible to resist

We thought we would take Boo for a solo walk today, so she could have double the snugs!
Once we had left the kennel, Boo planted her bottom firmly on the grass and sat and stared at the kennels… waiting for a companion to appear
Matt went to fetch RR Hugo, and Boo instantly followed!
She walks at such a slow and gentle pace with lovely slack leads
We passed several walkers and dogs and Boo was no trouble. She became slightly spooked by a runner that passed, but we moved in front of Hugo and she felt much better with him watching her back!
She is such a cuddly, waggy, friendly girl and has so much love to give.

Boo was fabulous today, on absolute top form
We headed out and met up with Misty AmBulldog and her walker Paul, Boo adores other dogs so was very happy to just follow and enjoy a lovely social walk. We were also joined by Pablo Staffie and his walker Anne and oh my goodness I think Pablo fell a little bit in love, he was rather in awe of our girl, I mean who wouldn’t be, Boo is just so sweet and kind with her canine pals
When we arrived back at kennels Boo decided that she’d like to extend her time out and I took the opportunity to introduce Boo properly to Paul and oh my goodness I think Boo has a new fan
I’m going to let the photos do the talking
but I just want to say I’m so proud of this girl, she has the biggest heart and is very happy to share it

So yes, I met Boo properly in the paddock after having walked Misty with her on Wednesday. Despite what my face in Jude's photos may indicate, I was full of smiles when doing so!
I think Boo was happy too - she seemed to love the attention.
I visited the kennels again today and took Boo out - just the two of us this time. She was no issue to get ready and after a couple of sausage treats we were off. She was ever so slightly unsure about being out "on her own" and needed a little encouragement on the odd occasion, and while we didn't necessarily do the route I had planned, we certainly managed a good walk.
At the "continue down the bridle path / turn right for the common" junction, she plumped for the latter and so I obliged. I think she just wanted to enjoy a roll in the grass because as soon as she reach it, she dropped to the ground and did just that.
No problem; no problem at all - it's just another opportunity for me to give you tummy rubs! What I hadn't anticipated was that after standing up and getting her to face the way we were actually heading, she would take just a couple of more steps before rolling again. This must have repeated at least half a dozen times!
Again, no problem Boo - do what makes you happy! As I say, we did ultimately manage a decent walk and she was a delight for its entirety.
I understand this lovely girl has some visitors this Sunday and my fingers are well and truly crossed for a happy-ever-after outcome.

Donna and Vince have been focused on Boo and reading her thread avidly. Today they travelled and Boo walked over to them and met as friends and enjoyed our walk with Rafferty in the sunshine
Re: Boo Cane Corso DofB 08.02.20 Desborough
Yay - fantastic news Boo. Be happy!
