Got to walk the lovely Freya today. A few pounds heavier than I remembered but I didn't mention it!
Not a great photo but she spent most of the time with her head in the foliage. Likes to sniff that dog does.

I’d not been able to walk for a few weeks due to being away for a couple of weekends so I’d missed this darling girl so much.
As soon as she saw me she was wriggling around and so excited to see me and gave me the most amazing welcome
We went on a lovely walk. We came across a couple of dogs and she had a little grumble at one of them but soon focused on the walk and we carried on.
After the walk we went into the paddock for some playtime and had a lovely time playing with some toys and some cuddles.
This girl really has my heart. I really hope it’s her turn soon to find her forever home. She really does have so much love to give

I snuck in a walk with gorgeous Freya on Wednesday and oh my goodness we enjoyed the most chilled out and relaxed walk ever and I was reminded yet again how wonderful she is and how time spent with this beauty is the best time ever we both had the biggest smile on our faces and it was so lovely to enjoy a peaceful stroll in the late afternoon sunshine we visited the stream and Freya enjoyed a lovely wallow in the water, her face was just blissful
Freya is such a great girl, I met her when she first arrived at kennels and the journey she has been on has been amazing, she has always been great with people, but not so keen on other dogs, really not surprising considering her background. Please read the start of Freya’s journey, she was kept in an empty house in a crate and bred from, so no surprise that she’s a little wary of other dogs. So the good news is that Freya has a host of dedicated walkers who have worked tirelessly to socialise her, she now will walk with dogs that she knows and we will continue to grow her social circle until she finds her most perfect forever home

Freya and I have been going for some quiet, chilled walks in recent weeks. She’s a very sweet dog who does still struggle when encountering other dogs but on her own in the paddock or sniffing in the woods she relaxes and enjoys herself. She’s very friendly with humans and loves attention.

I’ve been walking Freya regularly for the last few weeks and I have seen such a change in her. She does still notice other dogs but seems to be softening her reactions to other dogs. She walks so well on the lead, sniffs away in her muzzle and gives you so much love when you go up to her kennel. She’s an adorable dog, with so much love to give to the right family and she deserves a comfy home to call her own.

Freya loved chasing a ball in the paddock today - look at that big smile!

I took a short break half way through my walks today and took the opportunity to do so in the company of the lovely Freya (she had already been walked by Claire earlier in the day). I could see her kennel from the walkers' area and I'm pretty sure she was calling me over!
I let myself into her run and sat down. We said our hello's and then she sat between my legs, facing outwards so she could continue to watch the comings and goings, while I stroked her. This is what it's all about - truly lovely.
She is a gorgeous girl and it's hard to understand why she's been here as long as she has - I was on-site when she first arrived, so have known her for some time now. I've been very naughty and not walked her for a few months though - something I will definitely remedy on my next visit later in the week.

Freya has prime viewing spot from her kennel of all the comings and goings around the walkers area. She saw me instantly and was calling over to me to remind me she was there. How could I forget. I love this girly.
We went to a local dog field today and when she spotted my car and when I opened the back I think she expected to see my dogs in there. We walked with them a few times when she was on her foster break and she knows my car and that they were in there when we met up
She jumped in with no encouragement needed and off we went. She’s been there a few times so knew exactly where we were when we got out of the car.
Freya loves sniffing but she was also happy running around and playing. I love seeing her so playful and having fun and she loves nose boops!
To know Freya is to love her. She’s an amazing girl and really does love people and we all love her. She needs an only pet home or she would be sharing the sofa with my dogs already. She really does deserve a place to call home. 🩷🩷

Rain is not Freya’s favourite thing due to her ears so I got her this to try and help keep them dry 🩷🩷

Today was a charity walk at the rescue.
What a superstar Freya was!
I was so so proud of her. She can find being around other dogs a challenge but she took it all in her stride today and didn’t bark/shout at any other dogs and the walk was approx 2 miles.
She was such a good girl 🩷🩷🩷🩷
