Another wonderful week walking with this most special boy.

We are still working on giving things that Breeze would previously react to some space and keeping focus on me and he is doing so well, I’m so proud of him ❤️.

I have been very lucky to have this most amazing boy on foster since yesterday and he has been such a loving and amazing companion as always.

The highlight so far has been taking Breeze for his vaccination and seeing the improvement on his confidence from last year, he was very well behaved and let us weigh him where he was slightly over 55kg and was so good letting the vet check him over and give him his vaccination, he was a bit nervous but looked for me for reassurance and was rewarded with some treats.

We did see a dog on our way out that got a bit too close, which led to Breeze reacting to a couple of cars, but quickly recovered and travelled so well back in the car. I’m so proud of this amazing young man ❤️.

We had a shower and washed his collar and harness and he was so good and enjoyed have play drying him off.

We had two lovely walks and had loads of time playing and cuddling while I worked from home.

We managed to squeeze in a quick gym session in my garage and again I’m so proud of Breeze and the confidence he has gained, previously he was scared to go into my garage and would wait by the door, he now rushes in with me and watches me workout, he is the most wonderful companion and such loyal boy ❤️.

We finished off with some belly rubs and a nice steak dinner before we watched a film cuddling on the sofa before bed.

I can’t wait for the next couple of days with Breeze and the adventures it brings ❤️.

The past two days have just flown by and I can’t believe it will be time to take this most special boy back to the kennel tomorrow.

Since my last post we have had so much fun over the last couple of days, with a couple of highlights visiting a local secure field and lake in the early hours at 6.30am to avoid the crowds, as Breeze does prefer some space and time to observe new things and we both had so much fun.

Breeze favourite part was buying a sausage and some doggie ice cream from the cafe at the lake ❤️.

He has been so well behaved laying by my side while I work and enjoying time playing and cuddling, he has become the best work out partner and joined me in my garage gym again.

Breeze is such a fantastic boy, I love dearly and can’t wait to spend as much time with him while he waits for that right forever home ❤️.

I walked Breeze again today and he was just that; a breeze!!

We passed four other RR dogs on my usual circuit and (with considered management of each encounter) he did so without any fuss at all!

He's such a lovely lump!

I've walked Breeze every day for the past week and he has been the perfect companion - I honestly look forward to our time together.

While you do have to manage encounters with anyone/anything he's not already familiar with while you're out, it really is quite simple once you know how (which is something we can easily share with potential adopters, of course!) - the key thing is to get his attention early and maintain the "right" distance. He'll then happily just watch them pass by and then gently accept a treat as his reward before moving on as though nothing happened.

He's a bug hunk of a dog, but he walks ever so well; typically with slack leads and that lovely, big-dog "bendy bus" wiggle! 😄😍

See you again tomorrow Breeze!

Another perfect walk with Breeze this morning - he stepped aside with me to let a cyclist pass and he kept his focus on me the entire time.

Plus, he completely ignored the two deer in the woods; granted, because he didn't even notice them! Usually the dogs spot them first and then us walkers, if at all.

I would have sat with him for a while on our return but it was already getting warm and the rest of his breakfast was still waiting, which we both decided was much more important!

It was so lovely to see all the updates from Paul while I was away and how good Breeze has been ❤️.

I was so excited to see Breeze after being away for a few weeks and he gave me the most lovely welcome.

We have had 3 fantastic walks since my return and Breeze has been so well behaved and has done so well with keeping a bit of distance and focus on me when we encounter situations he is not confident in, I’m so proud how far he has come ❤️.

I have been very lucky to have Breeze on a foster break with me since last Wednesday and he has been the most amazing boy.

We have done so much in the last few days, we visited a secure field, went to a local lake, trained in my garage gym, went to the beach, visited our friend on their house boat and most importantly had lots of cuddles and kisses.

Breeze has been amazing in the house as always and he is doing so well when out and about making sure he gets some distance from things he is unsure of and rewarding him when they have passed and he hasn’t reacted, I’m sure proud of this boy.

I can’t wait to spend the next few days with him at my home ❤️.
