Leo's Story: Leo and his 3 friends (including his brother, Zeno) lost their home when their beloved owner went into care. All cat rescues were approached but they had no room. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place.
I love cuddles, I am quite shy
I don’t eat wet cat food. I've been spoilt and am fed white fish that is bought from Iceland.
I have 4-5 tablespoons in the morning and the same at night (you can get 3 bags of frozen fish for £10, this usually lasts me 2 weeks).
I eat purina dry cat food in between with fresh water.
I am no trouble, I don’t scratch the furniture as we have a large garden with trees to sharpen my nails.
I come and go as I please through the cat flap. I do my toilet outside.
I was neutered when I was just over a year old.
I have been microchipped.
I would love to have my brother Zeno with me when I go to a new home.
My brother is one day older than me, I am the runt of the litter, my mother was too tired and gave birth to me a day later. We were a litter of 5.
Leo is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Leo is in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Leo's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: All 4 cats were going to have to be put to sleep and all avenues had been exhausted.
Leo came into our Rescue 3rd Sept 22

Leo arrived today with his litter brother Zeno and his 2 sisters from a different litter. Leo had a dental today so he is subdued still. He was wormed and flea treated. Over the next few days he will explore more.

Leo is a calm and relaxed boy, he will come up to you and likes cuddles but is also quite happy to spend most of his time snoozing! Lovely boy.

(Since returned due to child allergy)
Evgenia and Huw brought their children Sergey and Alex. They came to meet Leo and Rocky and it was a very special meeting. Of course Rocky, being the Rock Star she is, mesmerised everyone. Leo stole their hearts also and they have always wanted a Tabby!

Leo and Rocky are investigating their lair...such beautiful cats

Oh Leo how my heart melts for this true gentleman.
He’s gentle, loud purrer, not too fussed on treats but enjoys a good ear scratch.
Rocky is the show off of the duo, Leo the gentle star in the background

Today I had the privilege of meeting Leo (and his sister Rocky).
Leo is such a handsome boy and loved being cuddled and brushed. He even gave me head bonks.
