Bailey is becoming more confident by the week. She definitely enjoys her time out and although she won't go up to unfamiliar walkers for fuss or treats, she will brush past them rather than backing off. Bailey is actually very good with other dogs and by nature wants to play. She quite happily ran up and down with Mack the the other day when they were in adjascent paddocks. Occasionally she will make a lot of noise but that's usually if the other mutt barks first. I've found her a really friendly and amiable dog with lot of affection to give once she trusts.

I snuck Bailey home for a short break as the landlords are away. She's fine indoors and likes roaming around the garden. Not eating much but in good spirit and currently laying on the settee.

I was awake at 3.30am so let her out for a pee. She picked up the scent of Mr Fox who lives in the corner of the garden, so I spent 15 minutes trying to get her back in without any noise :yes.gif:

Anyway mission accomplished and back to bed; of which I only had a third. Bailey is a very friendly dog once she has let you in to her space.

Bailey has had a nice rest. She's good around food and house trained. I haven't heard Bailey bark since she's been here and she also doesn't show any aggressive or dominating behaviour. I think that she might have blown our clandestine stay by digging a few holes in the garden!!!!

Fabulous photos Stephen and so delighted that dear Bailey had a night away in the comfort of a home and was able to show how good she is. love4.gif

Bailey is such a lovely dog. Ever so happy to be out with you. I took her for a drive down to Crawley to pick something up. When I got back to the van she was ecstatic. Always a heart warming greeting.

I took Bailey for a long walk yesterday. We started off from the paddock, but she was very happy to go out with me. We walked at a good pace, with the little girl pulling me along frequently. She loves being out and about, and particularly enjoys the stream - so much so she nearly pulled me in twice!!!
She was a pleasure to walk and was generally non-reactive around other dogs, but she did object to 2 of our small staffies that we passed.
Bailey likes attention and will be a delight when she gets to fully trust you.

In the cool of the evening Bailey came out to meet Dawn and reassure her to relax. The initial meeting was Dawn bracing herself for this red doggie walking over to her. Bailey stood still and gave off welcoming vibes. I then went in and videoed as Dawn relaxed right down. They have been meeting of a morning and Dawn is definitely benefitting as she hasn't met dogs and is learning about her own species and how to relate whilst feeling safe.

Bailey was a very good girl on our long walk yesterday. She was very excited to be going out, and we exited the kennels at pace, but soon settled in to a normal walk. Bailey does tend to pull you along in her eagerness to explore, but she can control it when reminded. She did not react to passing dogs and was a pleasure to walk.
