Lenny is such a very gentle soul, his face bears the scars of a hard life, but his eyes are so tranquil and friendly. He helped me introduce a nervous new walker to the joys of volunteer walking the other day and helped her relax and enjoy herself. He didn't want to go that far (he is an elderly gent now) but he enjoyed his amble and showed her how much he appreciates treats and how gently he takes them . It would be so lovely to see this unassuming older gentleman in a comfortable loving home of his own

Lovely Lenny as everyone says is such a gentle sweet boy
He was very enthusiastic today once out so went the long way round to the paddock so he had longer walk
Once in the paddock he was determined to get some treats so we played some games which meant he had to work a bit and he was happy to do so

Lenny is so beautiful and has such a lovely warm nature and He certainly knows how to get round you with those gorgeous eyes
He has wonderful foster breaks but his own home would obviously be better

Lenny is just the best. Always up for lots of attention, so plenty given this morning. Luckily the rain had stopped so he wasn’t too worried about a walk to the smaller paddock. Lots of love given to Lenny today and we had just a relaxing time, chilling out. I had to sit on my treat bag though!!

Lovely Lenny and I had lots of cuddles in the paddock, it was very hot and Lenny didn't want to walk too far, he enjoyed a couple of zoomes around the paddock then decided it was time for treats Lenny is a very affectionate boy and would benefit from a quite retirement home, if you are a lurcher fan please consider this dear boy who really doesn't ask for much in life, hustlers of treats

Lenny and his friend Dolly went to the secure dog field yesterday. Unfortunately it started to rain and they both decided to run for shelter and couldn't be coaxed out into the rain.

Today was his usual visit to the garden centre where he knows exactly how to scrounge dog treats.

This cheeky chappy is just so lovely. Yes, he is treat/food focused and I’m sure with some training he could be distracted. He’s just such a lovely dog. Loves his cuddles and affection and is happy to come to you for more . He doesn’t like walking too far these days and a quick sprint around the paddock is just what he needs to stretch those long legs of his.
I do hope he finds that sofa he longs for, soon

Lenny and I had a lovely walk today followed up with a play in the shady woodland paddock.
Everyone knows how much this boy loves a treat so i set up the slow feeder toy with lots of different treats and popped it on the table, by the time i got my phone out to record he had pushed it off the table so all the treats were on the floor saving him the effort.
It just goes to show how clever he is.

Lenny does make you chuckle with his love of treats! I have to hide mine firmly away while I get him out of his pen. I have started giving him the occasional walk although he is not too keen on the walking part and is def more interested in the treat part! I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Lenny - it is so good to see him with Becca, his regular fosterer, and to see the bond they share. Recently I have been so impressed by his lovely nature and the fact that he loves to give you his affection by sidling up to you for cuddles. He has been in rescue care for years now and is one of their many iconic dogs - love him!
