It was a busier week than normal for little Rocco
On my walk with Rocco last week we met some sheep which Rocco was quite taken with not really understanding what they were.

Then a quick dip in the river to freshen up.

Rocco also met 2 new friends last week Sabrina and Radhika he enjoyed their company and showed what a gorgeous boy he is.
He would love his own family and friends to share his walks with

Rocco is so sweet, he never gives me any trouble on walks. He tends to walk briskly but not pulling. Only if he gets excited by seeing another dog up ahead he pulls a bit. Rocco loves a nice stroke or a cuddle, it looks like he is smiling in his own way. Brilliant Dog

I hadn’t seen Rocco for a few weeks but he welcomed me in his kennel (turned his nose up at my treats though!) he enjoyed a run and sniff round the paddock and even sat on my lap for a bit

It has been a busy time for Rocco
Little Rocco had his birthday recently he is now the grand old age of 4 years, to celebrate I brought him a ball which he decided to carry round the entire walk we had then he took it to his bed.

I think he was very pleased with his present.
He also had to have his annual vaccination so off to the vets we went and he was so good and made no fuss, I was very proud of him and the vet said he was a gorgeous young man, which I am sure Rocco heard and agreed with. To give him a treat for being so good I took him to Earlswood Lakes, he was the perfect traveler but turned his nose up at an ice cream I offered him

Enjoying running and exploring the park

We also met up with my ex Rescue Dog Tigga and they seemed to get along (safe distance at all times)

A walk around the lake completed our time out

Rocco was a star throughout his adventure and drew admiring glances from passers by. He is a lovely little dog who just enjoys your company once he knows you and calms completely away from the stress of kennel life. I will be taking this angel boy out again so he can explore a bit more of the world around him. If you can give Rocco a home of his own you will have a friend for life.

Lovely write up and pics of star Rocco. I so agree Lynda - Rocco really is a great little dog. Like all terriers it is best to know him a bit before you take him out and so intros are fairly essential but once he knows you you become his friend. He is not a dog you notice straight away and some people may not even notice him at all - even on the forum - he is not particularly big, nor small, fluffy not overly cute but what he is is a sleek haired little patterdale who just grows and grows on you.
He likes to listen and to please and so enjoys his walks and time spent with you. Great little dog!

Took Rocco out for the first time today and what a little sweetheart he is.
No problems getting his leads on and taking him out of his kennel.
Rocco did pull for the first few minutes but he is very easily managed
He is a beautiful boy and has the cutest face, he was a joy to walk absolutely loving the sights and sounds of the woods
Rocco gives wonderful eye contact as you can see by the picture of him
Any terrier aware family would love this little guy
