Rudy has come back on to our books sadly now being left long hours

Rudy came back into our care yesterday. Rudy greeted us all and settled into his kennel. This morning he was worried but this afternoon seemed a little less worried and came out with me. Stephen immediately met him and took for a nice long walk. Rudy looked very happy disappearing off to the village with Stephen.

Rudy has put on a lot of weight so we will be gradually getting him fit, which is best done by long walks .

So sad to hear any dog coming back after such a long time ..thank goodness RR stand by all of their dogs ...thank you Lynne

Got out with Rudy again today. It's obviously unsettling for him to be back in kennels. Today however, he was straight up for walk and then a good run around the paddock. I didn't get much of it on video but the boy can still move....even with a few extra lbs. Hopefully Rudy won't be waiting long for a new home. He's a lovely dog who found himself back in kennels only due to a change in circumstances.

I got to meet the lovely Rudy today. We had a nice walk to the village where Rudy saw traffic, people and other dogs. None of these things phased out Rudy. He a lovely calm dog.

Rudy and I had a lovely relaxed walk yesterday. He is still a little unsettled and this has knocked his confidence a little but he set off with enthusiasm and seemed to know exactly where he was going. He did stop a couple of times during the walk and wanted to head back but with a cuddle and a little reassurance, he was soon back to getting on with his walk. He did look longingly at the river but it is too deep for paddling at this time of the year so he had to make do with wading through large puddles instead.

Rudy and I went for a lovely walk today. He was very keen to get out for a walk and behaved brilliantly when meeting another dog on the path and when spotting a squirrel as we walked along. He did want to turn back at one point but after some distraction sniffing a log pile he carried on walking. Such a sweet boy and so friendly.

I took Rudy out today. We started off on our own but then bumped into Tinkerbell so tagged on behind. Bailey caught us all up after a short while and the 3 walked along together for a lovely walk.
Rudy is a lovely boy and with plenty of nice walks has started to slim down a bit and is looking great.

I am really enjoying getting to know darling Rudy
He is your typical beautiful, loving staffie and I’m going to admit to having a massive soft spot for our beautiful red staffies
So Rudy is pretty impossible to resist, I walk his neighbour Rubytues and as I walk past I can feel his eyes on me, just willing me to take him out for his very longed for walk, honestly this boy he’s just so blinking beautiful and absolutely impossible to resist
Rudy is so very welcoming in his kennel, he really is the kindest and most sweetest boy, so full of love, so we always enjoy a little cuddle and then Rudy just wants to get going and I’m going to say Rudy adores the company of one of his canine neighbours, he takes the greatest confidence from a doggy pal we followed lovely Bailey SR last week and then surprisingly this week we followed the beautiful Shadow, honestly these 2 together were just perfect, both super respectful of each other, sniffing those perfect spots and just really enjoying each others company
I really look forward to our next walk, but more than anything I long to see lovely Rudy find his most perfect forever home, he so deserves it and I’m a little bit jealous of his forever family, this boy is an absolute diamond
