I missed Sully last week as I was on holiday but he gave me his usual happy Sully welcome with his excited little bounce.
Sully really is a wonderful boy. He really doesn’t want much from life. Just someone who loves him as much as he loves them, a comfy sofa and a belly full of food.
I would home him in a heartbeat if I was in a position to. He has a fantastic personality and a huge heart!
I had a lovely potter around with Sully today. We had a wander around the woods and stopped for cuddles along the way. When we got back we went to the paddock and had cuddles there too. He’s such a cuddle monster and loves to be brushed and sit watching the world go by
Sully has had a bit of a spring in his step today. We followed Georgia and Chelsey initially but Sully loves to stop for a sniff along the way so I said to them not to worry about waiting for us. We carried on at a gentle pace
I love spending time with this boy and I was telling him all about the kennel sleepover next week to prepare him that I’ll be sharing with him .
When we got back we popped into the paddock for the cuddles he loves to have (as do I!!)
He’s a wonderful boy and I’m sure his quiet life home is out there and he’s patiently waiting for it to come along
My first solo walk with Sully today!
I was introduced to him weeks ago and only just a managed to get my hands on him as he is a very popular boy
He is so chill and so laid back, he was happy to let me harness him up and take him out
We managed to get to a nearby bench for a cuddle and some scratches on the bum
If you have nails Sully is your best friend, he loves a good scratch
It was close to dinner time so we didn’t stay out long, he was happy to go back
Look forward to our next walk
Kennel sleepover 2025 edition was last night.
As Sully’s forum page massively gives away, I absolutely adore him.
He’s like a little best mate who listens to me natter on, mostly about a lot of nothing, but he never seems to mind.
I shared with Sully last year so he was naturally my choice of kennel buddy this year too. Bittersweet as it means he is still in kennels and not in a home of his own yet
I had already been up and walked him in the morning and he seemed a little confused when he saw me again but still just as happy and gave me his enthusiastic greeting that he always does
We settled down and got snuggled up together.
As you can imagine, kennels can get a bit noisy so I didn’t get much sleep but I was happy watching Sully sleep soundly and softly snoring. He took it all in his stride bless him. They aren’t used to humans invading their space or walking past their kennels in the middle of the night going for a toilet break.
He woke up a couple of times to reposition himself and gave me a little hello each time and I could tell he was happy I was still there. He was so careful not to step on me.
He’s a truly special boy and once you have his heart you will have it forever.
As much as I adore Sully, and love spending time with him, I would love him to be able to share a sofa and bed every day and night and not just on sleepover nights.
I promise you will have the most polite sleeping companion.
Thank you for letting me share your space with you again Sully. You were perfect xxx
This is a long video so I apologise in advance but I was sitting here feeling sad for Sully that he’s been waiting for his forever home for so long and then I started smiling because of all the fun and adventures we have had together while he has been waiting.
I shared a kennel with him for the sleepover fundraiser last year and I thought it would be nice to highlight our adventures over the last year starting with the 2024 sleepover and ending with the 2025 sleepover.
In between, we’ve spent a lot of time having cuddles, walking with his friends, we’ve been to secure fields, I’ve popped him in the car and gone for walks away from the kennels and a caravan overnight stay by the sea and he’s taken it all in his stride. He really is a wonderful and very special boy who has shown me nothing but love and affection since our first meeting
