I caught up with my absolute fav girl Ruby Tues yesterday and I can honestly say she always, without doubt brightens my day, she makes me feel happy and loved, I mean how amazing is that, this beautiful, darling girl, who waits patiently every day for her walk has the ability to make me feel special and that’s just one of the reasons why I love this girl with my whole heart she is just so full of love, happiest when with the people that she loves the most and I’m very happy to say that the list is growing every week, the most amazing of friendships made recently is with one of our male walkers Tony, honestly Ruby has come so far, she has opened herself up to a host of new people, including men, she is growing in confidence and once she trusts then you will have this girls heart for keeps

Yesterday was super hot but I kinda knew Rubes would still enjoy a lovely walk, especially if her boy Tommy SR was going to be joining us, Ruby Tues loves her pal Tommy and oh my goodness what a lovely, lovely walk we had. Ruby had her eye on the prize yesterday and I’m almost sure the stream was calling to her and of course I wasn’t going to deny her the one thing that gives her so much joy as soon as she realised that a visit to the stream was on the cards well there was no stopping her and she had the time of her life this girl and water are just joyful, seeing a dog who is in rescue do something that takes them away to a place that is just awesome and out of this world is quite something, that’s Ruby in the stream, she literally flies through the water and her face is a picture of happiness it’s very hard to drag her away from her happy place, but yesterday she was happy to continue on with her walk and honestly the look she kept giving me was just the sweetest, she was flashing these beautiful hazel eyes at me, big old massive grin on her face, I swear she was saying “thanks auntie Jude, I’ve had the best time ever ) and that’s Ruby, she really doesn’t ask for much, kisses and cuddles are a given, she does love her food and maybe a paddling pool when the weather is fine and oh how she she will repay you with the hugest amount of love, joy and pure happiness

RubyTuesday is a popular girl amoung the walkers, loved and treasured by her many fans. She has come such a long way in her confidence and social skills, now happy walking with other dogs and many different human walkers. She is funny and sassy and affectionate and has waited far too long for her forever home. So I thought it was time for a new photoshoot and Jude and I had a lot of fun with Ruby in the paddock while taking her photos.

RubyTues was in great spirits today and it was great to see her and have some staffy cuddles. We went on a nice walk and paddock time which she adores as you can see in the video.

Rubytues was full of love this morning and wanted to gave me a proper face wash before leaving her kennel. Once out, she sat beautifully for Mon and accepted her muzzle gracefully. We then went on a nice chilled walk. As there was quite a bit of cut grass, she couldn’t resist rolling in it. In the paddock, we had a bit of a play and then back to her kennel. She’s a fantastic girl and we love her to bits!

Had the joy of taking RubyTues out this week - it has been a while as she is so popular amongst the walkers! After a bit of fuss in her kennel we headed out and RubyTues took me straight off to the paddock where she could chase tennis balls. She gets so much joy out of a tennis ball- she races after it then takes it off to have a lie-down and a little chew of it - her face looks like a huge smile! When she's ready for another run she'll bring the ball back to you. The ball got quite soggy as when she went for a drink she would drop the ball into the water-bowl with her! Even though I think she could stay in the paddock all day when I walked to the gate she trotted over nicely to have her leads put on. I gave her some sausage in place of her tennis ball so I could put her muzzle back on and we had a little mooch round the grounds before heading back. Lovely girl!

I adore Miss Ruby
I walk her most Saturdays but admittedly have been slacking with uploading to the forum and am still trying to workout how to upload videos

I took Ruby to a secure field this week so she could chase her favourite tennis balls for a good hour
She had the best time and did not stop running!
It makes me sad that she has been with us so long as she is such an amazing girl and so loyal.
She traveled well in the car to the field and stuck by my side for the whole time we were there.

Darling, darling Rubytues, this beautiful girl she never fails to bring a smile to my face

So as soon as I arrive at kennels I can hear Ruby before I see her, Ruby has her fav people and I’m lucky enough to be one of them and as soon as she hears a familiar voice that glorious staffie chatter of hers starts up

Ruby is always at the top of my list to walk and I always make her my first walk of the day, this beautiful girl is simply impossible to resist. The welcome I receive is quite literally the best thing ever, I will never, ever tire of Rubys enthusiastic welcome, she is so blinking excited and yes I absolutely encourage this happy, crazy girl’s enthusiasm because she always listens when I tell her to calm down, how sad would it be to dampen this sweet girls lovely zest for life

I always try to organise a social walk for Ruby, she’s happy to walk solo but oh how she loves a walk
with one of her canine pals and of course her little face just lights up when we head out with her very best friend Tommy SR and his walker Anne (another of Ruby's very best pals) these 2 together are just the best, they read each other just perfectly, instantly picking up on the others mood and they are absolutely hilarious trying to be the one to take the lead. If Tommy takes too long to sniff a smell then Ruby will cheekily take the lead, honestly the look they give each other, they are like an old married couple

Rubytues has come so far since her arrival at RR, when I’m out and about with her now she just blows me away, she’s so fun and loving I do give Ruby kisses regularly throughout our walks, she does wear a muzzle but it’s pretty easy to still share kisses, although I’d say maybe swerve them if she’s been enjoying a little bit of horse poo I know seriously disgusting but Ruby does love a bit if horse poo!!

Ruby’s confidence has grown so much since her arrival and she has so many friend but she still has her insecurities and all she asks is that you her keep her safe, not hard as Ruby has the hugest heart and once you have that heart then I know that there isn’t anything that you wouldn’t do to protect this darling girls, sweet, kind heart

It was lovely to see Rubytues today and I got the usual happy greeting. She also said hi to her friends with great joy when out and we were off on a relaxed walk. She walked really well today as per the video. She was quite relaxed – she definitely seemed to pick up on the good vibes around her as Mon and I had an idle chat, and was very happy moseying around. There was a lot of traffic works going on so it was a bit difficult to negotiate today and after a couple of wayward drivers, I scooped her up and carried her passed the danger zone to avoid incident. She was brilliant and behaved like the contented princess she is. As usual, the prospect of paddock time got her pushing forward though , which is understandable. We had a super game of catch – she brought the ball right back and dropped it at my feet for throwing. She’s an awesome girl, full of character.
