Collected Tigga from his kennel and he made a bee line for my car, once he was safely clipped in and travel toys provided, which consists of a few toy bones we were off to Buchan Park. Tigga is quiet in the car except for the occasional squeak from one of his toys which reassures you he is fine.
A quick survey of the land.

A lovely walk through the park which is now in glorious autumn colours then onto the pond for a swim. Tigga swimming with his new doggy friends.

Back home to play ball then a relax. Who needs a cushion when a human will do

He always makes me laugh.

Time out in Sheffield Park. It was quite busy with families enjoying the last of the sunshine but Tigga behaved brilliantly.

Back to mine to play ball, paddle in pool, then inside to defend me from the giant fish.

Just enough time for another cuddle before going to his home.

Great photo and agree Tigga can be very affectionate. Lovely to see the love Tigga has for David and vice versa.

Saturday Standen House and Gardens. After a lovely welcome from Tigga, lead clipped on and settled in the car we were off. It was not far to our destination but as usual Tigga was out the car and ready to investigate our next adventure with enthusiasm.
Not sure what Tigga thought of the first animals he met but they did not seem particularly interesting so we carried on.

Into the woods to see what was next.

After all the adventure in the woods time for a sit down

Finally back home to mine for tummy rubs and tennis balls Bliss

I just love reading about Tigga's Saturday adventures - Sheffield Park and Standen - I wonder where next? So long as he is having fun with two of his favourite people I don't suppose it matters. love4.gif

Weather forecast was rain and so it did but this did not deter our Saturday walk to the watery destination of Ardingly Reservoir. There were a few people out with their dogs mainly off lead and Tigga met each dog with a friendly sniff and wag of tail.
So this is a Reservoir said Tigga

Who decided a walk in the rain would be a good idea!!

Back to mine to dry out and play with toys

All this playing is very tiring

Tigga was really well behaved especially as we did not play our normal game of ball, it was just too wet. I wanted to see how Tigga would behave if we did not entertain him, and he did not disappoint. He settled in his chair and played with his toys while I watched television in the other room, occasionally he would come in and see what I was doing and snuggle up for a cuddle. Other times when he was quiet and I wondered what he was doing, I would find him playing with a toy. He was very good at entertaining himself. This little lad continues to grow in confidence. He needs someone who is prepared to give him time to get to know him, he would make a great companion.

I'm being impatient I know but I can't wait to see the pics of Tigga's day out and sleep over. I just love to see the bond this little dog builds with his beloved walkers
- it is totally heart warming, amusing and lovely - yes, I knew I was getting impatient! love4.gif
