Wilson is really enjoying his walks now. He is a total poppet about having his harness put on and stands patiently whilst I fiddle with buckles, and his room mates look on. He will always be a very gentle boy, but it is safe to say that young Wilson has left his terror of the world behind him and is ready to embrace his future

Wilson strode out with confidence today so we went up and down the road and he was so relaxed he had quite a few sniffs at the verges which was great to see

He enjoyed a few stops for some tuna and then we went round the kennel woods to his special snack spot by the stone bench , I gave him some more tuna then left a bit in the tub for some of his furry friends and put it back in my bag , but he is not daft ! He refused to move until I had produced the pot again and he’d polished it off, he looked so pleased with himself he made me smile

Luckily I had some more snacks for his mates Ethel and Own back in the room , in Wilson’s mind he deserved the prize snacks as he’s the brave one and quite right to !

Enjoyed another outing with Mr Wilson today , it has been very wet and the kennel woods path was a tad muddy so clever Mr Wilson took me up and down the road again ,not wanting to get his gorgeous paws clogged up and we had several ‘tuna’ stops , he happily takes food from my hand and again back in his room I fed the three amigos treats by hand,they are all ( Wilson , Owen and Ethel ) so gentle and so timid but week by week they get better at interacting with us humans

Wilson has such lovely colourings , I hope he finds a home soon

Wilson and I went for a nice walk in the sunshine yesterday enjoying the fact that some of the mud is now drying up. Wilson is such a gentle soul it would be a perfect happy ever after for this sweet boy to find a family of his very own

Wilson and I had a lovely walk yesterday. He is a joy to take out and is certainly ready to move on and into a home and family of his very own. He is still a little nervous passing other people and dogs and will speed up a little bit to get the moment over with, but he likes to stop occasionally and look around him. He is very gentle taking treats, but then he is very gentle full stop. Absolutely lovely boy

Wilson really is such a sweet soul , I take him out every week and he’s always ready for his special treats at his chosen spots around the kennel grounds

Last week it was chicken this week cheese he seems to enjoy both

Wilson is always eager to go for a walk and then eager to get back to his room mates Ethel and Owen

It would be wonderful to see him progress in a home with someone who can let him progress at his own pace as he is a shy boy but so endearing

Wilson was very pleased to see me as always and eager to get out and about , he remains very easy to harness and stands rock still until his harness is on and the leads are attached

We went up and down the lane then round the woods ,we had to avoid his fave treat spot by the stone bench as there was a fawn and mother by it this week , instead we had our second round of sliced ham by the wooden bench and he waited patiently for me to give him his prize

Wilson really is a sweetie , so gentle and quite clever as I noticed he is picking up words such as ‘this way’ and he looks straight into your eyes often picking up signals , he’s a very special boy , spending time with him is a treat

Lovely walk with this gentle boy through the dappled shade of the woods. I think Wilson would absolutely bloom in a quiet household where he can gain confidence in the outside world at his own pace. I'm not sure I have ever met such a gentle dog before

Wilson was his usual laid back self today as we strolled around in the sunshine , I think the boy could start up a sideline as a food taster as he refused my wafer thin sliced chicken today , then I remembered last week I had proper chunky roast chicken slices and he wasn’t having any second best smart !

He had a nice time out though sniffing at the grass and meandering along the way he does

Back in his room with his mates I notice he always makes a beeline for Ethel and they sort of rub noses as a greeting , Wilson happily accepted the chicken back there as I shared it out with the three amigos , he looks lovely in the sun with his seal coloured dappled coat , such a handsome lad

Took the lovely Mr Wilson out for a walk in the shade as it was hot today

I had my chunky chicken pieces today and he accepted these with glee

So hope he can find his special home soon
