Raffa's Story: Raffa was found abandoned/ stray and unclaimed within a Welsh council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Raffa is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Raffa is in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Raffa's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Lynne, I have 2 terriers that are quite desperate, do you have any space?
Raffa is an 18 month old patterdale x (and Jenna) Thank you Lianna WestWalesPoundies

Wow - just look at Raffa! Lovely little dog who will thrive in the care of RR and hopefully get his deserved happy home from there. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

we took the bouncy raffa out with shy little debbie today and he was double excited to be going out but soon calmed his delight at being walked and settled into a steady rhythm - he was fine walking with debbie they got on really well as we picked our way thru the not so waterlogged woods both dipping their toes in - a lovely addition to the RR pattie family (and he does the one floppy ear thing like banjo)

Gorgeous boy - I met him on Thursday and hope to walk him soon. He seems a really nice natured, friendly little chap - would be great if his home were to come along soon.

I walked Raffa for the first time yesterday - in fact, he was my last walk of a rather long day's walking and I almost forgot him. However, his bark reminded me and so off we went into the afternoon's sunshine. He is an easy dog to walk and just loved all the usual doggy things - sniffs in the undergrowth, the sight of many squirrels, munching on grass. To me he epitomizes the perfect dog - just the right size, manageable in every respect, friendly, handsome without any airs and graces and a lovely nature. I look forward to walking him next week unless some lucky person snaps him up. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

We met Raffa for the first time yesterday and walked him again today, and got a lovely greeting both times (I'm sure the treats had nothing to do with it...)
Lovely playful boy, thoroughly enjoyed splashing about in the stream as well as some playtime in the paddock and we had a brilliant long walk both days. :dog_running-186.gif: love4.gif
