Today was an unusual day for me as I walked Bernie, one of RR's superb staffies. What a treat I was in for! He really is lovely. He and I went out with Becca and Scooby and both dogs were very relaxed in each other's company. love4.gif

Bernie didn't pull and was very relaxed having lots of sniffs and munching on grass. love4.gif

I can't wait to walk this boy again. Kiss of love.gif

I have not walked with Bernie for a while, but we enjoyed a really lovely walk together on Monday. He loves being out and was a joy.

Lovely walks with Bernie this weekend, took him out for a little afternoon toilet break yesterday and today we had 2 lovely walks. He is such a delight to walk and loves to play ball in the paddock. He will certainly be on my list to walk again.

I had a lovely relaxed walk with Bernie yesterday. He is such an easy, endearing little walking companion who loves being out and about. We finished off with some play time in the paddock.

I caught up with Bernie again today - I can't believe it's been so long since I last did.

He's such a lovely, well-behaved chap and you'd be blessed to have him in your home.

He walked really nicely on my usual route (including a paddle in the stream) and then had fun with a tennis ball in the paddock:

I am rather surprised this absolutely gorgeous boy is still with us. Bernie is a very handsome, friendly and well behaved staffie. He walks well on the lead, passes other dogs without issue and has no problems with cyclist, pedestrians, etc. Bernie is anxious about loud noises, which is why he has come back to us, he may need reassurance around firework night, as many dogs do, but quite honestly he is an exemplary little dog. Bernie and myself had a lovely group walk today and he thoroughly enjoyed having a paddle in the stream. It was great to see him having some fun and being playful.

Bernie and I enjoyed a lovely walk and time together in each other's company on Friday. Bernie has such a lovely nature and is a really handsome boy, he is easy to walk, and does so enjoy being told what a good boy he is. Bernie's nerves really seem to have settled and whilst he will probably always be distressed by fireworks (it's a common reaction) he didn't take any notice at all of the heavy strimming and tree felling happening in the woods near where we were walking, not even needing to look up to me for reassurance. He developed a problem with his front right paw, so I checked it out for him but couldn't find anything, but as he kept lifting it off the ground I decided a paddle in the stream might help. Which it did, hmm, Bernie loves the stream, was this a ploy? 0002.gif] Bernie is just waiting to fill someone's life with love love4.gif

Bernie had a lovely morning as he spent ages chilling in the paddock then had a nice walk with his friends. Such a good boy who is patiently waiting for his special people who will nurture him and make him feel safe and loved.

A lovely walk with the gorgeous Bernie on Saturday, I absolutely adore this dog and if I could I’d take him home with me. These photos show just how loving and playful he is 😍 and every walk I get with him is a pleasure as he doesn’t pull (unless there’s a stream he can go into), loves to roll around on grass and is just an all round lovely and fun dog to spend time with. I really do just love him 🥰
