Wonderful news
Re: Myles Staffie DofB 07.08 Cowes IOW
Myles' new owner is Peter who lives in Cowes. He is an 82 year old retired builder and has lived in his own build house for over 45 years. His daughter lives on the mainland in Hamble and wanted to meet Myles before the homing. I have just had Peter on the phone and he is "over the moon" with the little lad. Myles has been for his first walk round the local recreation ground and spent the afternoon asleep on one of the sofas curled up against Peter. It is a perfect home for Myles....lots of love from us all in New Romney.

Re: Myles Staffie DofB 07.08 Cowes IOW
Myles has been with Peter, on the IOW for nearly three years now. My goodness! How Peter looks after him so well. There have been times when the vet has called at the house and other times when a trip into the town has been necessary to sort out little problems and, currently, Myles has got a bladder problem. Today he had a scan which showed nothing sinister, but the vet was able to drain a load of muck from Myles' bladder and this is being sent off for analysis so the correct medication can be prescribed. Myles also has retention of urine for which the vet is prescribing "human" medication to alleviate the problem. You can see from this how well Myles is being cared for medically, and I also know that Peter has built little ramps inside the house to help Myles negotiate the different levels on the ground floor of the house and to enable him to get access to the garden. Thank you, Peter. There is no doubt that Myles' has enjoyed his twilight years with you. Thank you, again.
Re: Myles Staffie DofB 07.08 Cowes IOW
Myles has been really poorly over the last few weeks with multiple trips to the vets trying to get to the bottom of his "wee" problem. Last week's scan showed nothing untoward and he is now on a course of antibiotics for a bladder infection. Peter, who adopted his companion nearly three years ago, has been very concerned for Myles who is in his "twilight" years, and is especially relieved that they will remain together for a little while longer yet.
