Awww that’s my boy. He’s the best 🥰 he’s come such a long way in the years he’s been in rescue and learnt to be a calm dog around people and other dogs. He truly is ready for a home now and would make the most loving and loyal companion.🙏🏽

Selwyn and I had two lovely walks on Thursday with Hugo and Tam and on Friday with Hugo and Emma.

Both walks were so much fun for all and Selwyn and Hugo walked so well together and really enjoyed each others company.

We encountered lots of distractions over the two walks cyclists, other dogs, heavy traffic, horses, gardeners and a young child and they were both so well behaved.

Hugo is such lovely boy and I really enjoy anytime I get a chance to walk with him and his walker ❤️.

I walked Hugo again yesterday. What a good boy. He was very good about having his harness and muzzle put on, and excited to be going for a walk. We had a long walk and Hugo behaved impeccably. We passed several dogs and some people without fuss or concern, and he took his time to enjoy the surroundings. He walked with slack leads most of the time, and it was most enjoyable. love4.gif

Hugo had his annual check up with our Vets yesterday and loves the car and was excited with the adventure. Hugo is a fabulous boy who has so many endearing qualities.

His bestest friend is Marcus and we often put them in adjoining paddocks as they both have a work out together. This is after about 20 mins with Hugo having left for a drink of water then returning to more banter. Marcus is my own dog who is about 10 yrs old now and so enjoys meeting Hugo. Note little Zebedee in the background keeping pace and refereeing.

Hugo is one of my all time faves (shh don't tell any of the other doggos) he is very popular with the Saturday walkers so I don't often get a chance to walk him, but yesterday I grabbed my chance!!

Hugo is so calming on other dogs at the rescue so when I get a chance to walk him I get someone to join us with another of our dogs. That lucky dog was Austin.

They walked beautifully together! Love you Hoogabooga love4.gif

Would you like to walk our lovely dogs too?

Been a while since me and Hugo had an adventure; so we've come to not so sunny Selsey for a few days.
Hugo travelled well and is currently decompressing. He's just started to settle after being understandably restless for a few hours. We've had a few walks already but I think it will be mostly downtime.

Hugo is very good indoors and out. He would rather stay away from people as he is nervous around them. However, since we've been here he hasn't taken notice of anything....except the odd rabbit. He hasn't reacted once when passing people or dogs. Hugo is a very manageable dog. There's few people about and plenty of room here, so I've walked him without the muzzle.
Today we've had a walk every couple of hours. Our 06.20 walk being the long one and the rest just pottering around the site. Hugo's been absolutely great so far and I'm glad he's enjoying his time out.
