Hugo had a lovely time in the paddock today: Watch his skill with the boomer ball...no obsession there as with many dogs and his intelligence involved is regaining play with it. i was able to disengage him from it quite easily at the end.

Hugo has been doing so well getting used to his new muzzle.
He's pretty sure its meant to go in his mouth when I first enter the kennel but is quick to sit when I tell him to and with a swoop its on. The muzzle is really helping Hugo contain his initial burst of energy when he leaves the kennel, where he would previously jump about for the leads or give me a kiss.
I mix between taking Hugo to the paddock or out for walks. He is a large lad but not over powering on the leads, he can be interested in cars but quickly calms down. Hugo will flourish with consistent training.
He will sit perfectly, retrieve and hand over the tennis ball when we play fetch in the paddock and the big lummox loves to climb over you for a cuddle.
Until Hugo finds his family, i'll happily spend my time with him as he's a delight. bighug.gif

Poor Hugo has been poorly but not to worry we can still do kisses and a bit of paddock time.

Shame as i had hoped to take him for a foster this weekend (past). Will try for next weekend.

He has developed a new whimper when i see him designed to make me feel super guilty about not being able to adopt him. Hugo it works, every time.

I really enjoy spending time with Hugo. Once you are his friend he takes you to his heart. He always gives me a fabulous welcome when I go into his kennel. My favourite time is in the paddock. Her relaxes and just enjoys stretching his legs and getting cuddles. Hugo is super affectionate and really does build strong relationships with his walkers. Hugo cuddles really are full on and very sincere!

I had another lovely walk with Hugo today. He is so well behaved and walks really nicely. He has been getting used to wearing a muzzle on his walks and he is very good having it put on and it hardly bothers him at all now. Hugo is an affectionate little boy once he know you Heart fill with love.gif]

I adore this doggy so much. Always look forward to taking him out when I come in on Fridays. I see his little face look at me as I walk in the drive and So I always get him out first. He has so much love to give and once he gets to know you he trusts you and just wants to be loved. He can be a little strong at first but nothing crazy. He is getting better out walking past cars and big trucks as he did used to be a bit lungy. I would love to adopt this dog as he has so much character and love but I can’t at the moment so I hope and pray he gets a new home by Christmas. He deserves a warm cosy sofa to lay on. ❤️ Hugo.

Much fun and frolics with Hugo in the paddock on Saturday. We both got muddy, it is that time of year, but we both had a blast. Hugo is loving and such a clown that it is always a treat getting to spend time with him.

Had Hugo for an overnight. Great little cheeky boy. Had a really nice time, snores like a beast but what a little sweetie. This lad could play all day.

Hugo had his first walk with Emma yesterday and met her like an old friend!

Here is a vid from my walk with him a few weeks back. He spotted a deer but funnily enough the deer headed off! 0002.gif]
