Me and Jack took Royce to his third secure field (with us) yesterday ❤️

It makes us so happy seeing him run around off lead, his silly puppy side really comes out ! love4.gif
He made the absolute most of the hour and explored every inch of the 6 acre field 😂
We can’t wait to take him again soon :biggrin.gif:

Another little trip to the secure field for Royce today 🥰
As always he greeted us with the happiest of welcomes when we entered his room, he has the waggiest tail and is so easy to harness and muzzle up.
He knows exactly where he’s going when my car is parked right outside the kennels and he heads straight to the boot thumbs.gif
Even though he’s more than capable of the jump up, he much prefers just popping his front paws up and having me lift him in 😅 he’s not the smallest or lightest of boys but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way 😍
Royce is the best behaved dog I’ve ever had in my car including my own! 😂
He never makes a single sound and every time I look up in my rear view mirror I just see him gazing out the back window perfectly content.

I always book a field I can just drive straight into and close the door behind us to make it nice and easy.
Boot open and muzzle off, Royce is free to run around and be the happy and affectionate boy he is for a full hour.
Today seeing as it was valentines weekend we brought him a little teddy and some heart shaped treats 🥰
I think he agreed to be our valentine 🙊

Belly rubs are the best thing in the world ❤️

Myself and Jack enjoyed a lovely long walk with Royce yesterday love4.gif
Sometimes Royce can be stubborn leaving the kennel grounds for a walk (especially if the weather isn’t great) but with a bit of encouragement he does get going.
The sun came out yesterday afternoon and it finally felt like spring was on the way 💛
Royce was in the happiest of moods and didn’t react to a single person, dog or horse that we passed 🫶🏼

Roycie boy had a good long walk with me and Jack yesterday love4.gif

I think he was slightly confused to see us on a week day :biggrin.gif: but how could we have a day off work and not take him out ?!
The sun was shining and Royce needed no persuasion this time to head straight off site 🐶
We have a good sized loop we go on with him whenever he’s feeling up for it and he knows exactly where he’s going 🥰

We passed a group walk on our way out the kennels and he did have a bit of a bark at Domino,
This was however the only time he reacted on the whole walk.
Whilst we were out we passed plenty of houses with dogs in their gardens who make a fair bit of noise at us going by, Royce can always see them clearly through the fences and just trots on happily, too busy enjoying his time out.

After a good hour we were back at the kennels with a tired boy. He always gets a big good boy chew before we leave and he knows it 😂 he sits instantly as soon as his leads and harness come off and stares at me waiting 😆

We tell him we love him and we will see him on the weekend and he settles on his bed extremely content 💙

Myself, Jack and Emma took Royce to a new secure field yesterday love4.gif
4 minutes drive from RR and two massive fields to explore with lots to climb on!
Royce had the best time in the sunshine with 3 people who love him dearly. ❤️

Royce goes into the paddock just after 7 am sometimes earlier and loves to interact with his mates the other side of the fence Ethel, Wilson and Owen. After a long gaze at the back of the property hoping to see a deer (and I know if he sees one!) he'll then lie in the middle of the paddock and chill. As I come to get him in he's up and running with his mates the otherside of the fence. Impossible to tear Royce away from his mates so his mates have to go in first, and they race by with Royce running and following them through.

Then I come for him and its is rarely an easy exercise unless its raining or he as had 2 hours! This is typical as I approach him

Then he gets to his paws and I literally have to herd him out like herding a cow. I close the gates behind me as he can circle around and go back in. There are many other dogs who need to enjoy the paddock so needs must he walks into his room
