Enjoyed a walk with this beautiful soul today and was truly amazed all over again at how a dog that's been in kennels for three years, since a pup and following a horrible start that left him terrified, can be such a happy, chilled, affectionate and trusting boy.

We had a 45 minute walk around the village, and along a bridleway, and the whole way he was impeccably behaved, busy sniffing his way round, looking round at me when I spoke to him, waiting to cross roads when I asked, sitting nicely, looking at me with those beautiful soulful eyes and giving a paw for treats which he took so gently - he is the politest dog!

What a super star Buster is, totally happy in his own skin, he's a real credit to the gentle soul that is himself and to all those at kennels who've gained his trust this last three years and shown him that the world is a good place, filled with people who will only ever show him loving and kindness. If ever a dog deserved a home and sofa to call his own, it's Buster Kiss of love.gif k2727.gif

I had a lovely walk with Buster on his own today. He is a very calming dog to amble along with. He's such a monkey, holding the leads coming out of the kennels, but he is only being playful and showing how happy he is to be going on a walk. Buster is very well behaved walking along busy pavements (woods are too muddy at the moment) and waited patiently while other dogs and pedestrians passed by.

I trust Buster completely with other dogs, his emotional intelligence being so good, he knows when to give dogs space and when to be up close and friendly or comforting. Yesterday he stepped out with Bridget and was immediately drawn to her. They chose to be up close for most of the walk and seeing how calm and relaxed they were together, we let them do their thing. It is not often that Buster chooses to be so up close and personal with another dog so it was lovely to see the relationship and communication between him and Bridget. love4.gif

Buster found another wonderful canine friend to walk with this morning. He was very happy to be walking with the lovely Delta on a warm spring day.
