Nothing much to report other than Rufus is his usual happy self. It's been great having him around over covid as my daughter caroline has become rather anxious and he provides a distraction and hapoy focus for her. We went camping in Wales and Northumberland so Rufus had loads of places to go sniff.

Rufus is mellowing a bit with age but still charges at the gate if he smells a cat or fox.
Lovely as ever and still loves to chase a ball. He is still rubbish at letting go if it however :)
We have a weeks camping in Cornwall soon so he will enjoy that.

Unfortunately Rufus does not realise he is 9 and last night chased a fox and managed to scramble over a 5.5 ft gate and either had a fight with it or charged through bushes and got a nasty cut. Been to vet and now on anti biotics and collar of Shame!! I've also increased the gate height to above 6ft. He is fine now.

Well it's September now and Rufus came on a camping trip to Cornwall and a week in Wales. He is still everyone's favourite that we meet on walks. He is still the friendly tail wagging ' please rub my back's he has always been. Still rolls in fox poo and will eat anything but he is just a lovable staffie who we think is 10 now.
This pic was in Wales. He is just a cuddle monster.
