Today Mickey & I had a run in the paddock ... well Mickey ran I watched!

His little legs were going at full pelt but he would still come over to me for cuddles then off he went again! He loved running around

Wayhay look at me!

Mickey had a lovely walk with Tugs a new dog in who is a young Mastiff x. Barky initially but as he trusts he settles and they ended the walk in close proximity.

Met this little man today - isn't he just great :D

So so easy to walk - very interested in what's going around him

waiting for a treat (home made liver cake)

Even gives a paw:

How about two paws:

Such a cuddle monster - we sat on the bench for 10 mins watching the world go by:

Mickey was delighted to get out of his kennel and welcome 2 new walkers.

He's such a happy little dog, it's impossible not to smile when you are out with him.

However he quickly worked out all the potential advantages of having 3
people on his walk with him.

I think his train of thought went something like this....

"2 new walkers, they must have treats on them. What is going to be the best pose to get them to put their hands in their pockets?"

"Who needs clicker training, when you can train a walker as fast as I can with a swish of my tail and a twinkle from my big brown eyes?"

" Yum, Jackpot ! "

New walker Max took Mickey out this morning, he looked so sad in his kennel as we took out Justin, that I knew he'd be next on the list. He was really good for Max who decided to run part of the way with Mickey, he absolutely loved having the chance to stretch his legs. He is such a lovely dog that I can't understand why he is still in kennels.

Mickey is beyond cute in the flesh and is a real joy to walk. He's fine walking side by side with another dog but has a little bark if one walks to him from the other direction. He has silky soft ears and eyes that melt your heart. Loves treats and loves a little cuddle in the kennel too. A real sweet heart!!

"What about mentioning how good I am in the car?"

"Has anyone mentioned I sit quietly in the footwell?"
(He manages to look like a giant terrier here, but my car is only a mini and he is a tiny little dog in the fur).

Ok I confess Mickey did want to check I had taken the right turn and we were definitely heading out but once he was happy he curled up in the footwell and I didn't hear or see another pip from him until we reached our destination.

Such a lovely boy and it was a treat to have such a gorgeous travelling companion, if only for a little while.

Although for this journey we were only moving from one kennel to another. we live in hope that his next car trip will be to his forever home.

Mickey wasn't on my photoshoot list, but when he minced his way past and flaunted that terrier cuteness he was defo on my list! How could I resist popping him onto the c*twalk for a few pics and of course a few sneaky cuddles?!

"Look I'm the perfect terrier package"!

First time I've had the pleasure of taking Mickey out. He was a very well behaved boy while harnessing him up and stood patiently waiting for me to hurry up! Typical little terrier having a stop and sniff at any opportunity, a very easy enjoyable walk!
