Unbelievably we had to say goodbye to Bella in January. She was spectacular in every way. We had a lovely walk in the woods and she curled up when we got home as normal, but she couldn’t get back up. We didn’t know, but she had a large tumour and internal bleeding and in a few short hours faded before our eyes. We are beyond sad. We miss everything about her and our home feels weird and empty without her. She was 14.5 yes old and we’d had her for almost 10 years. Trina, Trina and George

Bella's Thread below:
Homed
Homing Requirements: Bella needs a fun family to offer her an enriched life and have patience whilst she adjusts to a whole new life. She needs a secure garden and exit management. Not to be crated; she has the tee shirt on that one!

Her Story: Bella was owned by a young man from a puppy and he introduced Coco, a pup, to her in Dec 10 when she was 3 years old. They have had a good relationship together. They spent a lot of time crated and upon moving house they began to get out of a poorly fenced garden. The girlfriend, now pregnant, didn't want them back the second time the dog warden knocked on the door. The owner was heartbroken to see them go into rescue. We neutered them both and have since homed Coco. Bella is fostered in Guildford, Surrey

Advert: Bella is a sweet girl who went from being an only fluent dog to accepting and raising a puppy as her own. They were close friends. Bella now needs a confident home to support her in life without Coco. Bella was always on extender leads outside and meets dogs well. Housetrained; could do with basic training. Her fosterers are delighting in her and enjoying her energy and affectionate nature. Travels well in the car especially if a front passenger!

Bella is a pied white Staffie with a truly devotional temperament, 4 years young. She is a good weight and the loving licky Staffie who will shine given a decent life with care, good food and a routine that meets her needs. She thrives on human companionship and had only 1 owner all her life before foster care; she is looking for her second chance!

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***Please visit on our Forum to find out more and follow her progress.

Ah Lynne

Thank you for your message. We sure do remember you too!

We have bought a beautiful white rose and have put it where we buried Bella in our garden. Right in her favourite sunny spot. So I will have to say my favourite flower is a white rose.

I have been meaning to message you to share with you the life that Bella lived with us, and how totally adored and central to our lives she was. I haven’t quite got the words for it yet, but I wanted you to see a fraction of the happiness you brought about - for Bella and for us - by providing the service that you do and choosing us to look after her all those years ago.

I will find some photos as well as some words and share those with you at somepoint, but it’s been a wonderful life and there are a lot of moments worth sharing. I’ll try and select just a few!

Thank you, for all that you do and for all that you did for us. You will always be part of our family story.

Kind regards
Trina and George

Bella had nearly 10 years in the heart of Trina and George's family loving their 2 little girls as they arrived to be come her best friends.

Rescue is Magic when to take a dog in, which no one having stood forwards to save their lives and then you are rejoicing their homing and then many years on witness the incredible impact they had on the hearts of their families and their friends and community as they exit with such great love.
