I walked Xavier for the first time on Friday, what a heart melter he is! He’s so beautiful and such a sweet gentle boy. Considering we had never met before he was so good with me entering his kennel, he straight away sniffed me I think because he could smell sweetie who I had just walked. He was a little shy but after he had a nice treat I sat on the floor and he was ready for some affection. I took it slow, but he was very easy to harness and exit the kennel. He didn’t want to walk and much preferred to just sit on the bench under the tree and have loads of cuddles. He’s incredibly tactile and was on my lap most the time or leaning into me, whilst being quite alert and scanning the environment around us. I can’t wait to watch his confidence grow, but hopefully he won’t be here long. He’s honestly such a beautiful sweet natured boy, anyone who meets him will fall instantly in love.
