If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £300 (£500 for a pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Michelle and I took Lady and Missie out late in the day after their vets visit today.
What beautifully behaved and lovely natured girls these two are.
We had quite a long walk which they both took in their stride.
They are definitely a bonded pair and look to each other for reassurance.
They are already getting so much love and affection from the staff and volunteers who are helping them adjust to their surroundings which must be very confusing for them.
Hopefully some kind soul can offer them a place in their home.

We met the lovely Lady and Missy today, both super friendly and excited for some company! Missy trots along and lady is more energetic but still really easy. We took them for their photoshoot where they do look slightly worried but once in the paddock they came out of their shells. Missy loved carrying around the soft toy I brought and lady found a ball and enjoyed running after it! Both enjoyed a lot of love and affection - Missy is super soft.

Lady and missie did the long charity walk route today. The couple who walked them said they didn’t experience either of them being reactive and were good with the couple of horses that passed. On return, they were stealing the show with lots of people commenting on how lovely they are and they enjoyed all the strokes!
As missie is quite low to the ground she got very muddy and she was an angel whilst we gave her a clean!

Adorable these two are. Lady is just that. Very loving and affectionate. Walks really well. Took her to Smallfield village for a longer walk. She trots along just lovely. No reaction to other dogs we passed either.
Missie met me, offering her little teddy, a heart melt moment. Just like Lady, very affectionate and loves a cuddle. I took her to the poets hut for a while where she curled up next to me and loved all the strokes that went with it. Not the longest walk as didn’t want to get her stitches muddy. The hardest part is walking away from these two after returning them to their kennel. Hopefully they will find a warm hug and a sofa soon

I reserved a meeting with Lady and Missie today. What an adorable pair. These two have quite different personalities that complement each other beautifully.
Lady is the more energetic of the two and just loves to fetch a ball. She brings it back, places it at your feet and backs away with such a pleading face and then a happy waggy tail - who could resist.
Missie seems to accept that she is not as fast and unlikely to get a look in with the ball throwing, then occasionally she sneaks a little go with the ball when no one is looking. Lady is very good natured about sharing her prize and just follows Missie until she gives it up again.
Sometimes Missie will give a little bark of excitement to hurry the throwing of the ball, but Lady is focussed and quiet as a mouse.
We had a lovely fun play with Lady a great catch and enjoying racing around after the ball, while Missie was happy to potter about my feet and sidle up for a few scratches and strokes.
These two have a lovely bond and from what I saw today, it seems endless patience for each other.
They will love a home with a garden and visits to the park. Where Missie will remain your dedicated close companion, and Lady will love you for ball fun until she is panting and out of breath. What a super pair!

Jan and I took these two lovely girls for a walk down the lane and back through the woods.
I walked Lady who was easy to harness and generally wanted to be behind Missie.
They really are the sweetest of dogs , so good natured and incredibly easy to walk.
Clearly adore each other and adored by everyone at RR
Lets get these beautiful girls a home as soon as possible.
