i got to take ghost for a walk today, and he was a dream! i hadnt met him before and when he was out you wouldnt have guessed. he loves to jump onto people and have cuddles. the whole walk he walked with loose leads and ignored all other dogs we walked past and were walking with. at the end of the walk i picked him up to put him in lynnes van, and he had no complaints!

The Vet receptionist called "Have you finished Lynne?" as I walked Henry away towards the door... "No, I am bringing a Ghost in for Halloween".

Enter Ghost and he couldn't have been better behaved, 12.5 Kilograms. After hellos I lifted him on the table and he sat in anticipation. So receptive to the Vet's examination and the injection wasn't noticed he was nuzzling his nose into my hand taking a chicken treat.

Ghost travelled in the front of the dog mobile delighted to watch the scenery go by. Ghost has that quirky little walk as he went back into the kennels delighted to see his tea waiting for him.

This little pocket rocket stole my heart today. Not normally a Frenchie fan, this little fella proved me otherwise! He was a little hesitaant to leave the kennel grounds at first, so we spent some time in the grassy area outside his kennels just getting to know each other. I mean, the little guy has to get to know you first right?! After he decided that I was a nice person (mainly because I gave him treats haha), we headed out for a lovley little walk. We stopped in the woods for a little game of tug which he loved! He was very easy to walk, polite and non reactive to any dogs and humans we passed. Before we headed back to his kennel we stopped in the Poets hut for some quiet time (and more treats). Watch my video with your sound on - I am convinced he is part piggie! He has the cutest little wiggly butt and he may just have changed my mind about Frenchies love4.gif

I took Ghost for a walk yesterday, first time I'd really met him and therefore, obviously first time I have walked him. I know nothing about Frenchies and I was mesmerised by this little boy! Firstly he sounds as if he is purring when he is sniffing around, secondly he is really friendly with people and basically ignores other dogs, even when they are really shouting at him (which some did). But what both horrified and entranced me were his acrobatics in the paddock sign_omg.gif . Little Ghost loves chasing a ball and there are a couple of cute photos below and hopefully Paul will pop the video on here that I took, nothing too surprising here (other than his speed, which is phenomenal for such a little chap), it was the diving off the top of the steps, including a couple of forward rolls that brought my heart into my mouth :o I leapt forward but he just shook himself off and then did it again!! No photos here, I was too taken aback to even think of getting my phone out :smiley-signs002.gif: I have no idea if this is normal behaviour for Frenchies or if Ghost just fancies himself as something of a gymnast, but I can confirm that he landed safely both times, absolutely adores chasing after a ball, and is the friendliest of chaps. thumbs.gif

Ghost was sitting by his kennel door when I went to get him. He was incredibly friendly and sat nicely for me waiting for a treat, which he took very gently. We went on a nice long walk in the woods. We paused a couple of times to let other dogs pass and we was really great at taking directions. What a wonderful little doggie!

When I had the chance to walk Ghost for the first time (and on Halloween!) I jumped at it! What a gorgeous little boy he is! He was absolutely dreamy from start to finish. Easy to get out, easy to walk and easy to love! love4.gif

We went on a lovely walk and ended in the paddock where I discovered he loves a tennis ball! What a sweet boy he is. He loves affection and a play just as much as a walk so I would describe Ghost as a fabulous all rounder! He isn’t strong on the lead and he loves a little treat. I’m sure he’ll be snapped up in no time! love4.gif thumbs.gif

I snapped up the chance to meet Ghost today and what a sweet little fella he is.

He was easy to take out, even for a novice like me, and Ghost was happy to trot out with me, though neither of us was keen to get muddy. We avoided the extensive mud with a little walk out on the paths between the puddles. I think Ghost would like to walk a busy residential area where there are plenty of people to greet.

IMG_3804.jpeg

Such a handsome little face with large ears, he really attracts attention. No one we saw could resist stopping to say hello.

IMG_3809.jpeg

Ghost is calm and friendly and loves human attention, whether it’s a little rub of his supper soft head, ears and neck or a very polite sit for a treat.

IMG_3806.jpeg

Ghost definitely knew his own mind, and we didn’t walk far without a few stops to enjoy the sunshine, attention from passers by or a stubborn little breaks on to let me know “I refuse to walk any further, unless you’re going to make it worth my while”.

This little heart stealer, knew exactly how to wrap me around his little finger. But a firm voice, a mere suggestion of a tasty treat or a new friend to greet, or earning his devotion looks sure to get this little guy moving.

IMG_3801.jpeg

As primarily a cat owner I can see how this little guy bridges the gap nicely for a cat lover to become a Ghost lover - a lovely little soft companion, easy in a lead and calm and unbothered by other dogs, with just the right amount character and Sass.

IMG_3799.jpeg

And not to be forgotten the little piggy snuffles that sound a lot like a cat purr.

I hope to see you again soon Ghost, unless you’ve snuggled your way into another heart and home by then. X
