Lovely Burt

Monday morning with handsome Burt! We saw a few squirrels which was very exciting. He’s such a lovely boy. Absolutely adore walking this gorgeous boy. His happy face and very clever nose always makes for a lovely time. He’s so sweet and attentive.

Walked this handsome chap today! We walked with Danny and Joanne. Burt is a very bouncy boy and just wants to play with anyone he can! He really is a sweetheart with the goofiest personality

Had a lovely walk with Burt today! He is a little excited in the kennels and can be distracted by the dogs either side of him but once he’s out he’s a dream! He is a sniffer, walks with his nose on the floor. We didn’t pass any dogs so had no issues, he didn’t want to go back and wasn’t put off by the rain at all

Burt had a great day out yesterday at the RR charity football match! He was such a good boy and amazing ambassador for the Rescue

Burt is such a loving and friendly dog with a heart as big as his head! He was so well behaved the entire day and loved meeting lots of new people. He was absolutely fantastic with all of the children who came up to give him a stroke and say hello. He enjoyed his day so much, he was even rolling around on his back in the car park so people could come and rub his belly!

Burt has such a wonderful personality. He is so full of character and has the most expressive face I think I have ever seen on a dog - you really know when Burt is happy and having a good time because he gives you the biggest smile

Every time I am with Burt, I am in awe of his amazing temperament and how he just lights up the place whenever he is. He is an absolute ray of sunshine and will make a family out there extremely happy - I pray he hasn’t got long to wait

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM BURT

I made a new friend in Burt this week, it was my first time walking him. He’s such a goofy happy boy, and I was so shocked how silky soft his fur is!! He’s very strong and can pull, and has a lot of energy, every now and then he leaps forward with excitement but then will quickly regulate himself by having a good sniff. We had a lovely walk in the woods together and then some paddock time, he ran around a bit but mainly wanted to hang out and have cuddles, and pose for the camera. His wrinkly face is just irresistible. I can’t wait to walk him again!

I had the joy of taking Burt out on one of my very first solo walks at the rescue, and what an absolute sweetheart he is. From the moment we stepped out, he was full of joy, wearing the happiest little smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

We spent some time in the paddock, where his playful side truly came out. Burt adores belly rubs, so much so that if you gently pet his head, he’ll look right into your eyes before flopping onto the ground, politely demanding more rubs. It’s impossible not to smile around him.

After our time together, I walked away feeling lighter, happier, and completely charmed. Burt has that special kind of energy - the kind that fills your heart.

I honestly can’t wait to walk him again, and I know his future family will be incredibly lucky. He’s loving, joyful, and ready to bring so much happiness into someone’s life. |.
