Jack's Story: Jack's owner's mother died and circumstances have meant that Jack needed to be surrendered. He has lived with another cat in the past. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Jack is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Jack is in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one or a pair of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Jack's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Poor Jack is understandably a little scared and unsettled after his change of circumstances. However no hissing when I met him today just very timid and far back .. we really hope we can help him settle and find his new forever home.

Jack has been a purrfect little ninja since he arrived! Still a bit shy to leave his bed i only noticed him today, when I saw his beautiful emerald eyes staring at me!
I did attempt to touch him....and what was my surprise to see how receptive he was. Rubbing his head into my palm
. Feel truly bless to be granted his trust.

Jack is such a lovely boy and after suddenly finding himself uprooted seems to be opening up a little. He’s really a super little fella who I think would be a great little companion… can’t wait to see him grow and show us more of his little character

Met Jack for the first time today - what a lovely gentle boy
. He was happy to get all the fuss from the comfort of his bed! No need to get up Jack!
If you listen carefully you can hear him purring over the noise of the barking dogs!

Jack, despite a shy nature at first, is a very sweet cat who just adores cuddles!! He will melt on every touch and scratches !

Brave little Jack is certainly getting there. He is still a little shy and maybe scared of his new surroundings but he loves attention and is just so sweet… hopefully he will improve day by day. He really is a little treasure…
