Some pictures of our walk today. Again, Sweetie is doing so well adapting to being in kennels and new people. She can still be wary of certain people but mostly loves everyone! She has such a playful side and can be bouncy when she wants to play but she can also be so cuddly and just want to be stroked and have some attention or just sit with you. She has a great personality and always does something goofy to make me laugh!

Sweetie really is a sweetie! We enjoyed some cuddles in the paddock today, it was lovely to see her have a little run about.

Sweetie cannot be more sweet if she tried! What an absolute sweetheart this girl is. Shy at first and wary of new people, but I am mean who can blame her! But once she has gotten used to you, she is like velcro. I spent quite a bit of time with her just mooching around and sitting quietly, observing the world. Sweetie misses nothing and loves watching the world go by. She would be the perfect companion looking for a loving, calm and loyal dog. She is big, but don't let that put you off. She really is a sweetie.

We took Sweetie to the secure field today and she was so good. She did cry a bit in the car but I think it’s just all new to her. Luckily the field is only a few minutes from the rescue!
Sweetie enjoyed running around, sniffing and exploring but was definitely more confident when one of us explored with her. She’s a very affectionate girl and just wanted to be by our side. It was a very hot day so at times we would all sit together in the shade where she was happy just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet.
On the way back Sweetie didn’t want to get in the boot of the car so I sat in the back seat with her where she pretty much laid across my lap for the short journey. I think Sweetie would possibly benefit from a family that wouldn’t leave her alone for too long as she definitely loves to be around her people. Hopefully her new home is just around the corner

I really enjoyed having sweetie for the whole afternoon, she is so lovely!
We had a good walk and some very polite interactions with other people and their dogs.
She also came to my home where she had a great time playing ball in the garden with my son, followed by a well deserved snooze!

Sweetie is a popular girl so I jumped at the chance to walk her today.
Its been a few weeks since I last walked her but she welcomed me in and stood beautifully while I got her ready.
She wasn’t keen to go far today so we plodded around the grounds, we saw a couple of other dogs which she coped with well. We also had 10 minutes in the paddock where I got a few pictures.
I think she knew it was dinner time and duly led me back to her kennel where we had a brief cuddle and said our goodbyes.
Sweetie you are the sweetest.

Wow I have well and truly fallen in love with this big beautiful girl 🩷 I completely understand why her name is sweetie, she really is the sweetest!
I met Sweetie a fair few weeks ago now but today I jumped at the chance to walk her and was amazed by how much her confidence has grown. When I entered her kennel, she was so happy to be going for a walk, she even looked like she wanted to play! She is so easy to harness up and out we went for a nice walk in the woods.
Sweetie really enjoys following another dog, so today we followed Burt. She had such a skip in her step and I could see she was enjoying every minute being out and about. She can still be a little bit nervous of loud noises, but responds so well to reassurance. Sweetie is an absolute pleasure to walk, no pulling, no lunging - just plods along happy as Larry!
She does enjoy a good sniff, so a walk through the woods is right up her street!
This lovely girl is starting to become soo affectionate, rolling on her back, inviting me to scratch/tickle her tummy - she really is a gorgeous dog and I am sure anyone would be lucky to have her. I really look forward to walking her again as she is such a ray of sunshine

Sweetie by name; and definitely sweetie by nature too.
What a total darling this girl is. She can be a little timid to start with. The first time I walked Sweetie she was a bit reluctant to go far from the grounds but once she trusted me, she was the sweetest girl who loved some play and affection.
Sweetie also joined Danny and I on a walk and she seemed to take quite a shine to him, which was very cute
I really hope this sweetie of a dog finds her happy home very soon.

Sweetie was back this weekend from our emergency kennels and I was so excited to see her! She was very excited when I went into her kennel to put her harness on but as usual walked like an angel.
We first went to the paddock so we could have some cuddles and I’d like to think she hadn’t forgotten me! She was very affectionate and loved to play with the ball.
We then went off for a nice long walk and she was so good. Passing people, dogs etc without any reaction. Sweetie is so ready for her forever home and is such a lovely girl. Don’t let her size put you off as she is so easy to walk and loves cuddles!

Sweetie by name sweetie by nature.
What a girl!!
To be honest, I’m not sure why this girl has not been snapped up already.
I’d not seen her for a while so reintroduced myself to her slowly this afternoon. Once I was in her kennel with her Sweetie gave me a wonderful hello and promptly turned her beautiful face away from me and presented me with her rear end for bum scratches!
Once she was happy with that she nudged her harness which I’d left on the floor while I said hello so I knew she was ready for her walk.
Very easy to harness and I clipped on the leads and off we went.
She enjoyed lots of sniffing and then we bumped into Georgia and Rocky so we ended up walking with them. Both dogs were perfectly behaved.
Most of the walk was loose leads but if Rocky got a bit far ahead because Sweetie had stopped for a sniff, she walked a little faster with taut leads but she wasn’t pulling me.
A family were walking behind us for part of the walk and a little girl was riding her bike. This made Sweetie a little nervous and she kept looking behind her. I gave her lots of reassurance and she relaxed again as we got further away.
As I’ve already said WHAT A GIRL!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
