Mine and Henry’s third foster together is coming to an end.

There’s nothing I can say about this boy that I’ve not said before. He is the perfect house guest. He’s polite, he tells you when he needs to go out, he’s calm, he doesn’t bark (much!) and he absolutely loves cuddles. My favourite time with him is the mornings, we have such a good spoon.

He doesn’t really like squirrels, small dogs, or bald men maybe someone from his past. He hasn’t been bothered by neighbours cats, curious but no barking/lunging.

He is so ready for his home and I can’t fathom how he hasn’t found one yet.

I love seeing Henry enjoying his foster breaks he really is the biggest cuddle bug.
Today it was dark by the time I got to his kennel and he was very welcoming and good getting ready.
We went to the woodland paddock where Tam had left some new toys so we had great fun playing fetch with a ball until we couldn’t find it.

Henry always looks sad but I think that is his happy face.
We had a slow walk back to his kennel and with much excitement Henry saw someone had left him a pigs ear so he was devouring that as I left him.
Henry is a Very special boy.

Henry was in a good walking mood today and was quite happy to be going to the paddock for a run and play.
He is so funny, he came charging towards me a couple times so I got this cute photo.
Henry wasnt keen on the two terriers we saw but was easy to hold him.

Enjoyed a play in both paddocks with Henry today where I learned that this boy loves playing fetch! Shame I didn't catch () a decent video/pic as we were having too much fun. He also loves a back scratch (who doesn't) so I was happy to oblige. Merry Christmas, Henry.

Everyone had a great time on the Charity walk .

Henry and I shared a little walk this week.
Henry is so easy to get ready he stands perfectly still for you.
He was very keen to get out then realised it was raining so he was not so keen to go very far.
We ended up sitting in the walkers area where he plonked himself down half on me half on the sofa.
Such a funny and affectionate boy who would be so happy and content with a permanent cozy home of his own

I walked Henry for the first time in a while today and he is just so so cute. I gave him a toy whilst I harnessed him and he got all wiggly and excited, he then carried this toy all the way to the paddock and once in the paddock happily walked around squeaking it in his mouth Henry is such a cuddle bug, he really loves human affection! No pics today as was very dark!

Had a lovely walk with Henry today. I took some of his food out with me and he was very good at ignoring dogs and focusing on food instead today, he also came running over to me when I called his name, he’s already nicely trained in the house and I think this could definitely be extended to the outside. For the most part he walks very well, but can be quite a stubborn boy if he wants to go a certain way and put the breaks on… classic mastiff I think I love everything about him he’s such a funny boy and always makes me smile and laugh!
