Ho haw Henry. Max lead him towards the dog mobile and Henry gleefully jumped in. Not a woof when he noticed Charlie next to his crate. A total gentleman as always. Our Vet was pleased to see him and Henry didn't show any of his surface nerves. Very happy with his health and the only thing of course we had to negotiate was his dribbling on a tint of her giving him a treat.
We have started Henry's vaccinations again as he came in with a strain which no vets locally can match so we tend to pause and start gain after a few months.
Its been over a month since we changed Henry's diet to grain free and he has been regaining weight slowly and surely which is always our aim. 43.7 today.
What a fabulous dog Henry is you just have to cuddle him

Henry is SO lovely - what a softie!! Goes from zoomies in the paddock to basically falling asleep whilst on his back getting tummy tickles

After harnessing Henry, I took him to the paddock where he enjoyed his favourite tug toy. In his mouth it looks tiny! He enjoyed playing catch with it and would chase after it when I threw it for him. After a bit of playing he came over for affection where I gave him lots of back scratches and strokes. He kept turning around to tell me not to stop! After this I took him for a short walk around the rescue grounds of which he walked very nicely.

Oh Henry what a handsome man you are.
No issues getting him ready and off we went down the lane where we had a little photo shoot then around the grounds so we could stop in the hut for a cuddle.
Henry has quite a fan club and I can see why, he lulls you in with that sad face which is not sad at all.
He was perky and sniffing all along our route.
Gorgeous boy with a beautiful nature.

Happy Halloween from Henry!
Re: Henry Neapolitan x DofB ?2020 RRemedies Centre
While I've said hello to Henry many times in the past, today was our first proper meet and walk. He's a very good looking boy, what with his lovely eyes and cute underbite!
I had planned to head into the village but Henry didn't want to go up the lane so we turned around and did my usual route. For the first 5-10 minutes, we had a few "discussions" about which direction we were going to take (with him winning as many as I did) but he then settled in a rythym and had a lovely walk.
We stepped aside for a couple of our fellow dogs/walkers to pass and while Henry did announce his presence to them, it was nothing of concern - pretty much just a woof.
Although Henry had fairly muddy legs before we started our walk and hadn't picked up any more during our outing, I couldn't really return him to his run without a quick rinse down first. He wasn't particularly keen on the shower but he didn't really fight it and I managed to at least make him presentable.
See you again soon Henry!

Truly obsessed with Henry. I can’t believe he’s yet to find a home! I’ll try my best to get him for another foster soon. He’s looking so good and he’s so playful and cheeky when we go to the paddock!

I took Henry for a play in the paddock today as he wasn't too keen on a walk. After a bit of coaxing from me and another volunteer, he happily trotted into the paddock and then had a great time bounding around! Henry really is such an affectionate boy, he constantly comes up to you for cuddles and greets everyone looking for cuddles (and maybe some food too!). He is a gentle giant, he gives a bark or 2 at passing dogs sometimes, but otherwise is very easy to handle for such a big boy!

Henry was easy to harness up and I took him for a short walk around the rescue grounds. Today he was more interested in sniffs so our walk was quite slow. He enjoyed lots of back scratches and leans in to your leg. He was also interested in going up to all the other dog walkers for attention and more back scratches. He’s a very friendly boy!
