Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Faith, Hope & Charity's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information:
Faith and Charity came into RescueRemedies on the 29th April 25.Hi Lynne Here we have HOPE, FAITH & CHARITY, approx 9 months old. They are a trio of sisters that were part of a mini colony, it all started in 2024 when the neighbour had a male and female cat un neutered and they had left the country. The neighbours had no idea what to do and they already had one litter, fast forward to summer of 2024 and this is where the girls along with their siblings were born. They were bred, born and always lived outside with only having human contact when being fed. Unfortunately the rest of their family moved on and just left the girls and their brother (who we are still yet to catch) the neighbour made a post pleading for help and as this was local to (Gemma the rescuer ) she wanted to help. After much communication and sorting a plan Gemma rescued HOPE first as we were made aware she was pregnant, unfortunately she had a premature birth on the day we arrived in the feeders garden and there was nothing we could do but save the terrified little girl. FAITH was then trapped a week later, she was very aggressive and scared, she was untouchable. About a week later their sister CHARITY was then trapped and I was told she was the most feral, to my delight she was absolutely lovely and no signs of aggression at all, at her time of spay she was also pregnant but her outcome was the same as HOPE.
Weeks later they’ve all been spayed, chipped, flea and worm treated by a wonderful contact.
HOPE (Tabby) is a playful kitten that she should be, she’s very loving but still a bit nippy, she is also very small for her age.
FAITH (Black with white chest patch) is now touchable after a week of using gauntlet and treats, now you can stroke her head bare handed with minimal hissing.
CHARITY (Black) is a wonderful girl, she is very grateful when being fed and will show you the love for it, she also likes to curl up in the corner and under a blanket, she will roll around and loves strokes behind the ear.
HOPE has helped FAITH become more trusting towards her humans although still needs more time they’re partly bonded, whilst CHARITY is a free spirit and doesn’t have much care for her sisters, she prefers her humans.
