Oh sweet boy, Gitano. You are the definition of a gentle giant and I’m so glad you’re making more friends at the shelter but I can’t wait to see you in a lovely home. You love cuddles and belly rubs and you deserve it all the time. x

I met Gitano for the first time last week, been wanting to walk him for ages. What a beautiful gentle giant he is! He was a little reluctant to walk and wanted to go to the paddock but unfortunately it was occupied so we managed to get him to go on a loop around the woods. And he was an absolute dream, so docile and gentle. I can’t wait to walk him again!

Lovely pictures of Gitano as you say our gentle giant.

Today Michelle and I took him for a walk up and down the lane and what a lovely walk we had with him.
Gitano gently strolled at a gentle pace without a care in the world.
No pulling just enjoying the smells.
Everyone is hoping his happy ever after is on its way.

Nice time out with The G Man today. Walked up the road and through the woods, then mooched in the paddock, with added strokes from Amy and myself. Lovely boy. Quite low maintenance.

The big man can be wary of some strangers. Is very strong if he decides to pull towards something. Very good natured, and came in through no fault of his own. He chugged around the common very nicely. Unfortunately doesn't fit on the front seat of my van and definitely doesn't fit in my MX5!

Lovely Gitano!! He’s been feeling a little sorry for himself in kennels of late, he hides trying to get him out of his kennel for a walk but once he’s out he’s loving life. Amy and I took him yesterday through the woods and he was plodding a long sniffing everything in sight. He really is a big gentle giant who loves a cuddle and a stroke over anything else. He’s been introduced to so many people now and they all love him which is amazing. Despite his size, he’s an easy walk (we have to walk with two people just incase) but I’ve never had a problem with him. He can walk in group walks relatively well too. Poor baby just wants a home again, like they all do!
