Breeze and I had a lovely walk with Pluto and Karen today.

Pluto and Breeze were great together and really enjoyed their time out on their adventure.

Pluto was happy for Breeze to take the lead and Breeze was very comfortable having Pluto walking with us ♥️.

On our walk we saw other dogs and walkers and both were good boys, Breeze kept his focus on me with a bit of space.

We did see a horse and Pluto was a bit unsure when it was close, but he recovered really quickly and I’m sure will get use to them with more exposure.

I’m so proud of both of these special boys ♥️.

the best weekend with a very special boy.

i managed to get some time off work this weekend so i could foster and the lucky dog was pluto. when i picked him up on the friday, having never met him, he gave me lots of love instantly showing me how friendly he was and what a good boy he was putting on his harness. after a short walk around the grounds. he hopped into the car without any hassle and laid straight down. during the hour car ride he slept the entire time and there was absolutely no noise from him, you wouldn't even be able to tell he was there! when we got home, he waited till i told him to come out the car then hopped out. he had a sniff around the house figuring out where everything is and meeting all the people in our house. he had a few moments where he got a bit overwhelmed and decided to start humping but he was easily distracted and stopped after 30 minutes. he then chilled and had a nap on the sofa after waiting to be invited up.

in the evening we took a walk to the local climbing gym and sat there for a bit. he met lots of people including children and was good as gold the entire time. he got lots of compliments on how friendly he was and decided to show of his tricks. when we got home, it was dinner time. as i was making it, he just stood next to your side patiently. when he got fed there was no signs of resource guarding and was happy for you to take the bowl away. to add to this even when you are cooking your own dinner or leave things on the side, there is no counter surfing at all.
it was then time to try the stairs! he perfected them on the first go even waiting for permission to come up them and go down them. after that it was bed time and he settled on his bed on the floor. halfway through the night he decided to climb into bed with me and my boyfriend which was a bit of a squeeze! however he laid comfortably at the end of the bed and stayed there until the morning.

On saturday morning he stayed in bed with us until we got up. there were no accidents throughout the night, and in the morning he waited by the door to be let out to do his business and then have breakfast. we took a short walk to our friends house after this where pluto met a pug. he was an angel with this being very considerate when playing with him due to the size difference. on our walk we walked past many dogs who were having a go at him but pluto did not bat an eyelid and kept on walking. due to his size you would think he would pull but he walks right next to your side with loose leads the entire time.

throughout the whole day on saturday it was lots of sleeping and cuddles. only getting up once or twice to see who was coming home or leaving. he bonds very closely with his person. i couldn't leave the room without being followed even if i was going to the toilet but im sure with time this will ease as he feels more comfortable. he also has amazing recall. if he has wandered off to a different room and you say his name to come back he comes back in an instant.

in the evening, our friend came over to look after pluto for half an hour while i popped to the shop to get some dinner. he was good as gold for her, but had a bit of separation anxiety and had a cry when i left but not unmanageable. we then had a walk at the local park where we discovered something pluto was not a fan of which is swings! he got a bit bouncy and a bit grumbly but was swiftly moved on. then it was time for more sleeping.

if you are considering adopting please consider pluto. i cannot fault him and he was an absolute pleasure to have. if he doesn't get homed before, i will definitely have him again.

(Since Returned)

Nicole and Jamie and their dog have been watching Rescue Remedies for sometime and once they moved into their own maisonette with large garden they decide they were ready, with holidays booked to settle a new friend for Coco: All paths led to Pluto.

i have the very special boy again for the week!
i picked him up from emergency boarding tuesday morning and when i got there he was out on the field. when he saw me and my friend (who lives with me) he came running over to us. he was very excited when he got into the car, i think he knew he was coming back home with us! he settled straight away in the back and slept for the hour car journey. as soon as we got home he went straight upstairs and jumped straight into bed. unlike last time there was no humping as i think he knew it was time for settling down and it wasnt as exciting as last time.
later in the afternoon we took him to a dog friendly mall. he done very well in the lift getting compliements from the other people in there! throughout the mall he walked right by my side and was very well behaved in the shops. he did have a very friendly bounce at some passing little dogs but this was swiftly moved on.
in the evening, i had to pop out to grab a few bits. he stayed at home with my friend and she walked him. he was good as gold on his walk, ignoring all passing dogs including two off-lead staffies. he did have a little grumble at a lab/retriver across the road, but he did not try to pull towards them and was distracted very quickly. when i got home he was fast asleep in bed with my boyfriend and didnt even wake up when i managed to squeeze into bed!

this boy is the most well behaved and well mannered boy. anyone would be lucky to have him. if i was living on my own and circumstances were different i would take him in a heartbeat. he is the most loving lad ever ❤️

My first walk with Pluto today. Wow, he’s handsome. He looks and behaves like Dylly who used to be at the kennels.
Such a good walk, and even managed to get Pluto to jump the style by the bridge. He was a bit unsure at first but with a few encouraging words, he was over. He sits beautifully, with a paw raised, a treat was given love4.gif
I have my fingers crossed Pluto gets a home soon that he so deserves

Another lovely walk with the handsome Pluto. Very excited to get out of the kennel this morning and was playful with grabbing the lead but harness on and off we went. He walks well and keeps close to you. One things for certain though, he doesn’t get on well with horses! I was aware of them being ridden close by, but close enough for Pluto to see in the distance and that was enough to get him a bit uncomfortable and so was ready to lunge but a firm NO and he kept walking on as good as gold, so be aware when walking him. He is just gorgeous love4.gif

I have been wanting to meet Pluto for a while now and Today I met this lovely boy for the very first time, and my goodness did he steal my heart! This big friendly giant really is just the kindest boy. He was the best boy when getting a harness on him, he walks perfectly not pulling at all and at the pace you want to walk. When walking him he kept looking back to check all was okay and for a pat on the head. We came across a few dogs which Pluto was unsure about but I quickly re directed him to a treat or some grass for him to sniff and he then forgot all about the passing dog. We then went into the cabin for a cuddle and lots of slobbery kisses 😘 This boy will make someone so so happy , I cannot wait to walk this lovely handsome chap again ❤️

I was lucky to be able to walk Pluto again yesterday, he is such a gentle giant, easy to harness and walks on a slack lead. We met another kennel dog on the walk and he reacted to them lunging towards him but otherwise he was perfect gent, checking on you regularly and waiting for you to come down steps, he is a gorgeous boy who deserves his forever home love4.gif

Pluto! Where is that lucky person, who maybe reading these lovely notes about you? You are just the best. Sitting, waiting for me to open the kennel door, keen for me to harness you and go for that walk. Such a lovely, sunny day and you enjoyed having lots of sniffs and having me in fits of giggles as you went under one of the bridge’s styles and you crawled on your belly as if you hadn’t quite cleared it but you had! Just the best. love4.gif love4.gif love4.gif
