This girl is sooooo beautiful inside and out. She is so welcoming and friendly when you greet her and just loves her walks. She does take some time to settle once out of her kennel, but if you are patient, you will be rewarded with a wonderful and loving companion. I have only been walking her for a few weeks, but once she knows you, she really is so trusting. She has so much love to give and I know with the right person, she will blossom into the most beautiful girl. I really love this girl and I cannot wait for her person to come along and rescue her :) Sweet Bells xxx

Some pictures of beautiful Bells on our walk today. She walked great with Charlie and isn’t phased by anything on a walk. When she walks, she walks beautifully but as mentioned before, Bells can rag the leads every now and again but means no harm. Once distracted, she will carry on walking but this will need a little work with the right family. Apart from that, Bells is so loving and cuddly and deserves her forever home

Bells was an absolute sweetheart on Thursday. She was very welcoming, had a chew while I harnessed her, attached the leads and off we went immediately for a long walk. Bells was happy to walk at my pace, no pulling, not interested in other dogs, an absolute delight. Love this girl

Sweet Girl Bells! I have managed to walk Bells three days in a row and I’ve loved every minute of it. Unfortunately it’s been firework weekend and that always affects the dogs moods and can make them very on edge, Saturday we had a lovely walk with Chelsey, she was a little bouncy when getting out the kennel but settled lovely.
Sunday was a bit different and it took me some time to get her leads on and her energy felt very unsettled, she chewed the leads and jumped up a lot. She can be difficult to deal with when she’s in that mood and it’s hard to figure out how to calm her down. One thing about Bells is she loves cuddles and affection, if she’s jumping up at you it’s because she wants to be close to you and give you a kiss, she’s more often than not looking for reassurance from her Walker. The only thing that seems to work for me with her is a stern ‘sit’ not a lot of other words or much talking and she does snap out of it
Today (Monday) she was amazing but VERY muddy so I was covered head to toe within the first 5 minutes of going into her kennel
After our walk and run in the paddock I took her for a shower and she loved it.
Water and mud does not phase her at all and she was happy to stand there whilst I got soaked and got all the mud of her.
We have created quite a close bond over the last few months and I’m confident that with consistency and training she would stop chewing leads and jumping up. She’s keen to learn and she does listen.
It’s not just any dog I let cover my face in kisses but she’s special and very very cute.

Bells has got quite the fan club these days and its not often I get to walk her so I was delighted to spend some time with her today.
She has moved kennels and seems much happier in her new kennel which means she is much easier to get out with less silliness than before.
I still got a sloppy kiss and paws on my shoulders but thats our routine greeting.
Bells once out is a dream to walk she walks beautifully with her famous wiggle and she likes to check in with her walker.
We passed a couple of other dogs which can sometimes cause her to rag the lead or jump up but today we had none of that just a lovely chilled walk.
Bells also had a pupcake as one of our volunteers had a birthday today and brought in lots of treats for the dogs which she really enjoyed.

It was a few weekends ago now but I got to take Bells out of the kennels for a few hours on a Sunday! I asked my mum to walk with me with her dog Archie who is very good with other dogs
Bells has never shown any aggression or any interest for that matter in other dogs so I thought it would be a good test to see what she’s like with an offlead dog she’s never met before
I wasn’t surprised to be honest but she was amazing, they had a lovely sniff to introduce themselves and then it was like they have been friends forever
Of course she was a little jealous that he was offlead and she wasn’t but she had me running round the field like a loony trying to chase him
I’m gutted I didn’t get it on video but she gave him a playful bow many times to show him she just wanted to have some fun
She loved my mum and although she was a little lead raggy at the start she really chilled out and was a pleasure to walk
She was checking back at me for praise ‘see I am a good girl’ next time I’m hoping I can have her over night for a really good break

Beautiful Bells
I finally got to have a sleepover with this beautiful girly! We have been working our way up to this with some visits to the secure field and some offsite walks. Bells can be lively on walks and in the kennels so I wanted to make sure I could handle her energy!
She was amazing in the car, laid down and fell asleep. We went for a walk first with my mum and her dog Archie who she has met before and gets on well with. We had a few raggy moments but was easily distracted
We met some off-lead dogs and she showed no interest, she was more concerned that the owners didn’t stop and get her lots of cuddles
Bella really is a people dog, she can be a little nervy meeting new people but once she knows you you will receive endless kisses!
I really wish I had my camera during this walk because Bells LOVES a puddle, so much so she launched into what she thought was a puddle but actually turned out to be a rather deep river (luckily I managed to hang onto a tree) she fully submerged herself in this river and she shock on her face was hilarious! She quickly got out of there and shook it off
After a very muddy walk I took her home and gave her a shower (I had showered her a few times at the kennels so knew she would be no issue) she loved the pamper and just sat there and let me shampoo her!
After this she fell asleep on the sofa for a few hours, quick toilet break and she let me harness her up with no jumping and no crazy antics
Back for dinner and I noticed that she was a little wary and was waiting for me to give her permission to come into the kitchen to eat
Whilst I ate my dinner she did the same thing and waited for permission to come into the living room. She seemed like she didn’t want to come too close to me and avoided eye contact
Once I told her it was ok she just laid next to me on the floor
No aggression round food whatsoever! it was nerves so I’m not too sure if maybe there was some issues around eating in her previous home??
Bed time and she slept with me and my god this girl can SNORE! I have never had to nudge a dog so many times in the night to keep them quiet
she was cuddled into me the whole night and had to have close body contact
In the morning she had breakfast - not quite as nervous but waited for permission to eat
Took her for a lovely walk with my mum and Archie again and returned her to kennels
A VERY successful first sleepover and I look forward to many more
She really is a lovely dog
She is very loyal and loving
She is a people dog 100% - she loves to play but isn’t fussed by other dogs

We all knew Bells would be adorable in a home so great to see her have a wonderful time on her foster break.
Today she was an absolute pleasure to walk, zero lead rags and just a couple of almosts where she thinks about it and realises she is having a nice time and there is no need.
Bell’s enjoyed a good sniffy walk looking around in the bushes and trees and at a squirrel but no reaction.
Such an affectionate girl who wants nothing more than cuddles and praise.
Beautiful Bells.
