Lovely to see Bells has some new walker friends.
Bells can be very excitable getting out and can be a bit grabby to start with but once out she is a good girl and walks beautifully.
Amy and I recently took her to a freedom field and she had the best time and really enjoyed herself playing on all the obstacles. ( post to follow)
I adore this girl and cant wait for her forever family to see her qualities and love Bells has to give once given the opportunity.
Bells you are beautiful and a little bit crazy..

I have a very weak spot when it comes to this girl! She is one of the most loving, cuddly, funny dogs I’ve possibly ever met

Bells has a lot of pent up puppy energy and hasn’t got very many ways in which she can burn any of that energy off so Karen and I decided to take her to a secure field near the kennel

We have been taking her to the paddock for some off lead practice recently just to see how she copes with the freedom and surprised us both by being very calm and stayed very close to us.
In the field she was unsure at first but once she realised all the things she could do she had a great time
Bells listens to commands very well and was very brave on all the hay bails and jumpy bits!
She does ‘sit’ ‘paw’ ‘lay down’ basically anything for a treat
She sat in the car very well as it was only a short drive down the road but I can’t imagine any issues with longer journeys

She needs a family that has time and effort that they are willing to put in to teach her basic manners. She walks amazingly on the lead but getting her out of the kennel is sometimes a struggle because she gets so overwhelmed and there is no aggression in her jumping up whatsoever
Any chance I get I want to walk her because she is so lovely.

I have only recently been introduced to Bells, she is a shy girl when it comes to new people, but once she knows you WOW does she love hard. I have a little brindle Staffie who is the spit of Bells, so this girl really does have a place in my heart. She has had such a tough start to life so to see her let people in, and enjoy her walks is such a privilege. Never take for granted a girl like this who lets you in, she will be your friend for life. We had a wonderful walk today, after th einitial excitement of exiting the kennels and realising she was getting out, she settled so well. She always checks in for reassurance and thrives on positive cues, but also needs a confident person to lead her. I never want my walks to end with her, so what better way than to give her a long lasting chew in her kennel and get some cuddles and kisses before she settles. See you next week my little Bells love4.gif

Lucky Bells got another trip to the secure field with Karen and i
She was thrilled to be leaving the kennel for an hour to run free although she surprises us EVERY time and won’t leave our side
She has a few ‘mad’ moments but nothing like you would expect
It just shows how much she wants to love and be loved. She’s always trying to give you kiss
She wasn’t bothered by the rain
She travelled well in the car
She truly is a special girl
Once we got her back she trotted into her kennel quite happily as it was close to dinner time
I always look forward to seeing her again

Kennel Sleepover 2025
I was lucky to be able to share Bells’ kennel with her this year. There was a little confusion at first when she came into her sleeping area to see my airbed and sleeping bag. She soon realised this was a comfy place to lay down, she let me get into my sleeping bag but snuggled up beside me. I got regular face washes in the night when one of us were changing positions, there were a few distractions in the night but she slept through most of them. This morning when everyone started moving around she still slept snuggled against and I only moved her as I needed a wee otherwise I think she would have slept in for longer.

Domino and I had a lovely walk with Sooty and Bells yesterday.

They all walked beautifully together and enjoyed their time out together ❤️

I’ve walked Bells a couple of times now and she really is a lovely dog. She can have a few issues when leaving her kennel with lead ragging but I feel she’s getting better with this. Once we leave the kennel grounds and out in the woods she walks beautifully.

Bells has so much love to give, she’s so cuddly and loves the attention. I feel for her being kept on a small balcony before coming to Rescue Remedies, she hasn’t had any training and was never taught how to walk on the lead. She deserves her forever home just like all of our lovely doggies 💕

Bells gives the best cuddles to her friends.
Yesterday we had a lovely walk with Selwyn and Lloyd.
Bells only had one moment of ragging which after asking her to stop and sit she then settled beautifully.
This girl will be your loyal best friend and companion once given the opportunity.
I have the biggest soft spot for her and will continue to support her and cherish her loving and sweet personality until she finds her forever home.
This picture is from the secure field and captures Bells very soppy cuddly nature 🩷

Lovely Bells!
Bells is becoming VERY popular with all the walkers because she is just a dream to walk and gives the best cuddles
She is still struggling to maintain her excitement when she comes out of the kennel but as she is not consistently getting out for walks she has calmed down so much
You do need to show her who is boss but with a stern ‘sit’ she soon snaps out of it (treat in hand too of course)
Never have any issues on walks with other dogs - she honestly couldn’t care less
She’s so playful and loving
She is the best!
