Narli's Story: Narli owner's can no longer manage her in an upper flat with no garden access. She is 43 kilos. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Narli is now neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. Narli came to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Narli's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Original referral information: Narli needs to come out of her situation and no Rescues have been able to help. Owner has agreed to hold for 2 weeks until we find space

Squeezed Narli in for mooch around the grounds. What a lovely beast. Very playful with other dogs and met people well. A lot smaller than I thought, so also very manageable.

Narli is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out love4.gif
I’d not met Narli before so was super gentle in her kennel, no need we were friends instantly love4.gif this girl she is just a darling and I fell in love with her within seconds.
Narli had already been our for her walk yesterday but we wanted to get some photos and so out she came for her photo shoot and what an absolute pro thumbs.gif she was a little bit strong coming out of her kennel, but just keen to be out and about. She posed beautifully for photos and came alive when interacting with Anne and I, taking treats oh so gently, love her love4.gif
Narli has an aura, it is peaceful and gentle, I reckon time spent with this girl will be better than any medicine and she has this smile that will knock you sideways love4.gif
Of course on our way back to kennels I invited Charlie and Emma to come say hello, I think they were smitten too thumbs.gif
So for the rest of the day I of course told anyone who would listen about this beauty, how stunning she is, how in love I am and how sadly I won’t get to walk her again because she is going or be so blinking popular and will obviously be homed before you know it :crossfingers.gif: love4.gif

Narli is an absolute sweetheart and is super cute. She has the most gorgeous and soulful puppy eyes that could melt you. She can get excitable as she is a young dog but she is easy to calm down. She is super affectionate and I can tell she loves hard.

Little Narli has recently been spayed so has stayed with me over the weekend. We have mainly been resting and keeping her warm so she can recover. She is completely clean in the flat and will tell you when she needs the toilet. When we go out for her toilet break she is good. Initially she was excited to get out but as she has settled she is easy to get down the stairs and outside. She is responsive to her name and easy to manage out and about. She is also great on the lead with the occasional pull but this is manageable. She will happily walk past people on the street and pays attention to other dogs if they are on the other side of the street. When she meets people who say hello or a dog is nearer she does need a bit of work as she jumps up and down or tries to jump on them. I think a treat and sitting down will work. My mum and dad came over to visit and whilst she initially was excited trying to jump on them she did relax and chill quickly. She was happy to relax on the sofa or nudge them for strokies.

She wanted to sleep in my bed the first night which was cosy but not practical. She was a reluctant to get off the bed but with some coaxing she settled in the living room and was happy to sleep in there on the sofa with the door shut. We have had a hit and miss with her sleeping in my bed at night so needs a bit more work on this. I left her briefly for 45 minutes and she settled on the sofa or her bed whilst I was gone. She has gained her appetite more over the weekend and happily munches on breakfast and dinner. She is not possessive over food or toys and is an excellent competitor for tug of war. We did some practicing of commands which needs a bit more work but she was starting to get it a bit.

She is a funny girl and independent. She is perplexed by trains, the washing machine, the hoover and the hairdryer although none of them are a problem. As I write this she is lying next to me watching the TV and watching the camera which is on motion setting. Narli is the sweetest little girl and is a bundle of love. love4.gif

Sorry a bit of a photo spam but she is just so pretty and funny!
