Walks:
She loves a walk but can be a bit strong on the lead at first, clipping the lead to the front of her harness made a difference and helped her keep a nice pace. We made space whenever a dog passed just for good practice, she’s not reactive but don’t want her to learn to say hello to every dog, however one lovely man asked if his pom/chi mix could greet Wendy and she was so happy, good sniffs and play bows then a happy roll around afterwards. She also saw 2 cats on our walk, which she was interested in (didn’t pull but instead froze) and I was able to call her away easily!
Food:
Overall she’s very good and loves a treat, I spoilt her and gave her some steak, cucumber, pepper and some nuggets. She can sometimes whimper when I’m eating (which is actually very cute), ignoring her or a firm “no” works and she settles
Toilet trained:
No accidents at all. She whimpers and goes to the back door to let you know when she needs to go out.
Deliveries:
I had a food delivery to the house and she was brilliant and didn’t bark at the stranger at the door!
Sleeping :
Whilst she was with me I reckon she slept about 90% of the time. She was a great work buddy and squished herself in behind me to snooze. On the sofa she cuddles right in and she especially loved my heated blanket. She also had no sense of personal space when I let her sleep on the bed overnight, she slept right through until my alarm went off.
Wendy is just the most loving, clever goofball! She’s so happy and snuggly, she loves playing and listens well (she mistook my slippers and bobble hat for toys but after a quick No she left them alone. Whoever adopts her is going to be very lucky
