I took Wendy for an offsite walk with my dog today and she had the best time! She is amazing in the car just lays down or sits nicely looking out the window- she enjoyed me opening it a crack for her to get all the good sniffs (wasn’t bothered when we drove past a cat or when a big lorry or motorbike went past)

They walked nicely and basically ignored each other most of the time - at one point Wendy showed some signs she wanted to play but we made some space otherwise the leads would’ve gotten tangled.

One thing to know about Wendy is that she LOVES a muddy puddle - I let her go in them as it’s cute/funny but you can pull her away quite easily.

We went to Horley rec after to get a pup cup which she enjoyed (and kept thinking she was going to get some of my milkshake- she didn’t jump up but just kept sitting nicely in front of me).

We walked past a lady who said she was ‘beautiful’ 🥰 and I have to agree, especially when she does a big smile for the camera and her ears stick up!

Wendy is a confident and funny doggo who is very ready for her forever home!

Wendy had the best time at paws in the pool today! She was slightly nervous at first which I was a little surprised about but I guess it’s to be expected with going somewhere new! Once she’d got the hang of it she loved jumping in after the toys and bringing them back out again.

Again she travelled very well in the car!

She also played with the owner whilst we got changed and took some treats.

She really is the best girl who would make a family very happy!

Lovely lovely Wendy woo, there’s nothing not to love about her and she will most definitely put a smile on your face! She’s cheeky, clever and loves a big treat. I love how much more cuddly she’s getting, her way of showing affection is going through your legs and brushing up against you love4.gif

Wendy has come so far since I first met her. Walks used to be hard work as she was a strong puller, but over the past couple of months, she has become a joy to walk (thank you, Sabrina, and her other walkers, for also putting in loads of work with her!). She loves to sniff and explore, is very food motivated and loves to play. Yesterday we went on a nice long woodland walk, she was very well-behaved and listened well when I said no to going in the stream (a favourite of hers).

While Wendy takes a little time to show affection, I've never seen her be worried about people passing, or meeting new friends. She is just a dog that requires a bit of time to warm up and build that connection.

This stunning girl has come such a long way. I’m not a consistent walker to Wendy but I have to say, each time I walk her, she gets better and better. A few months ago, she dragged me around our walk and I was exhausted by it, but this week, I’ve walked her and she was amazing. She didn’t pull anywhere near as much, she listens, she is good on walks with other dogs and I genuinely couldn’t complain at all. Her walkers are doing so well with her and she’s now a pleasure to walk for sure. Wendy needs to be in a home with some consistency and she will be great, I just know it. Also, just look at that face!!! 🤪

Wendy is a beautiful girl, inside and out. We went for our usual long walk yesterday which was lovely, and ended with a bit of training in her kennel area. She is such a clever girl, and loves doing little bits of training, using her brain, and earning those treats! We are working on her 'leave it' at the moment, which she is doing amazing with.

Never a dull day when you walk the lovely Wendy! She is happiest when being a little pickle, she can be strong on the lead but can also walk like an angel, she sometimes forgets her listening ears but she’s actually very clever and does a beautiful Sit, she really does have the best personality so even when she is being ‘naughty’ you can’t help but laugh love4.gif

I think she would absolutely love a home with a garden that she could run/ roll around in! She’s a big foodie and switched on so I think she’d be easy and fun to train with the right exercise and enrichment. I’d love to see this girl in a home (even just for a foster) so her cuddly and loving side can come out!
