Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Koko & Rusty's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Unfortunately I need to rehome my 2 cats. They are 6 years old mother and her 4year old daughter. I recently moved and they have become very unhappy and distressed. Due to my longer hours away from home they are alone for over 12 hours a day. I do not have a cat flap but even when I am home they are very nervous to venture outside. They were used to being out most of the time at our previous house.
They both at different times have lost a lot of their fur at the base of their tail. I have moved to be nearer family but they are allergic to the cats and need to take antihistamines whenever they come over, the youngest is only 5 years old Jx

Dropped in on Koko and Rusty to see how they’re settling in. They are understandably a little apprehensive, but Koko came out to see me and had some strokes. Both of them enjoyed a few Dreamies. I’m sure they will continue to adjust and relax over the next few days.

Koko and her daughter Rusty travelled to our vets for a full check, vaccination and chip. We handled Koko first and she didn't flinch with any of the intrusive exams. Then Rusty and exactly the same so receptive and calm and obliging. I as so impressed with them ...what wonderful cats.

I met these Koko and Rusty for the first time today. Koko was very friendly and happy to ge stroked and scratched. Rusty was a bit more nervous but happy to be stroked once she got to know me. They both loved treats.

Met Koko today for the first time - Rusty was having a nap in the bedroom and didn't fancy coming out to say hello today. Koko is a total babe! Straight out to greet me, loves a fuss being made of her, and quickly started purring away! She's a very pretty little cat indeed and extremely loving Looking forward to more snuggles with this one!
