If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Martha's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Finally got Martha out today (with a little help from Hermoine). Lovely friendly dog. Occasionally a little strong. Seems of good nature and much more confident when out of her kennel.
Re: Martha Cane Corso DofB 2022 RRemedies Centre
So I have fallen hook, line and sinker for darling Martha, she is absolutely my kind of girl and is everything that I love about the Cane Corso breed
I’ve been getting to know Martha over the last few weeks, she was a little nervous initially (I would say though kennels is a strange environment and she was really was just finding her feet) today, oh my goodness the welcome that I received was just lovely, full on body wag and big old goofy grin
Martha walks beautifully, she can be a little bit shouty to her neighbours when heading out but is very easy to handle and will walk on I don’t think she really knows how to react to other dogs, I thinks she’s maybe trying to play, but am really looking forward to trying some social walks with some of her kennel mates I’m sure that she’s going to do amazing.
Martha is an absolute joy to spend time with, she is very sweet, a little bit bouncy but also incredibly kind and patient Martha is a people dog, she loves her people and is already thriving, love her

I echo all that has been said about Martha. I met her foe the first time today. Even though she didn't know me she was pleased to see me and gave me some kisses. She was happy for me to take off her suiticle and harness her up to go out. Boy is she wriggly!
She was very vocal and quite strong passing her kennel mates on the way out (and on return) but the rest of the walk she was very well behaved and light on the leads. She is very beautiful even though she still has stitches from her eye operation but seems to have an amazing friendly nature. She will make someone a wonderful companion.

Met the beautiful Martha for first time today. Friendly and wiggly in kennel. As said previously, strong and bouncy to get out of the kennel block but once away and walking she walked beautifully. I was very grateful for her taking extra care in the very muddy parts - she lead the way gently almost like she was looking out for me not falling over!
In the paddock she does get excited with a bit of jumping up, but she does listen and sits nicely for a treat.
Gorgeous girl

I had the pleasure of meeting and walking the incredible Martha today she was very excitable leaving her kennel and a bit bouncy towards her kennel neighbours but once we were out she was a different dog! First we went to the woodland paddock where she had zoomies to burn off some of that built up energy, a big goof she wanted to play games. We then headed out on her walk where she was amazingly behaved and walked lovely on the lead, she is a big strong dog so her new owners will need to have big dog experience. Once we got back from our walk i decided to spend some time with her in the big paddock where she didnt leave my side and gave me the most soppiest of cuddles and kisses. I cannot wait to walk and foster this girl in the very near future
